probably because there weren't enough beta testers...why test new bugs if there r so many left....
Lack of playtesters on beta. If anyone on PC is interested to test the new content, please consider subscribing to beta

wavebend has a patch beta chat room set up for active players.I'll be joining in after work. There is also a looking for players thread in the beta forums.Against my better judgment, I signed up. What are the best times to log in and play? I can see how ineffective this beta would be if I just soloed, so that information would help.

probably because there weren't enough beta testers...
Or perhaps because they never did a beta before launching the game.

Seeing as ESO has been on pc for quite some time, that's probably not what it is.
I'm looking at it from a ps4 perspective. I see tons of people playing eos and I can't find lobbies any more on DAMP.

I don't have time for beta tests in DAIMP, I'm just not that hyped to really get into it, pretty much waste my time without any ingame progress + spoil new content/features if there are any.
As programmer I understand that this beta program is probably very beneficial, who knows really how huge DAI devs team is now, looking that they work on new mass effect, so every new "tester" can make a difference.
But as from customer point of view, I've paid for a game to have fun with it, not to work as unpaid tester.

If anyone decides to subscribe, there's a "looking for group" thread where you can post your Origin ID. I'm not aware of any active Origin chatrooms for the beta atm, so that's your best bet to notify other beta testers

Wish I could help you guys out, but I'm on Xbox One. I appreciate the work/time the testers put in and hopefully you can get more PC players to help. I'd offer free chia pets to all participants, but sadly they are not the gifts of renown they once were....
haha
Seriously though, thanks again, can't wait for the new content and wish I could help.

BSN1: Well the are so many bugs, they really should fix the bugs
BSN2: They should patch all this issues it is really annoying...
BSN3: I want more stuff!
BW: we need some people to beta test so we can release relatively clean product..
BSN1: Who me?
BSN2: I don't have the time
BSN3: Why me?
We bought the game, so its reasonable for us to want it to you know, work. If it doesn't work, we are going to complain, because we paid for the game. We also want more content because we enjoy the game, so this gets added as DLC. Some pay, others dont. Thats how it works.
Its not the consumers job to beta test patches. Its QAs job. Thats literally the job description for them. We as consumers are entitled to a working functional product, because we paid for the damn thing upfront.
If someone wants to opt into the beta and see previews of new stuff then fine, thats their decision. But don't start mocking those who don't want to do someone elses job for them.
No, I will not do a QA job for nothing and yes I will continue complaining about bugs, glitches and issues that arise from each and every patch. If bioware (a multi million dollar budget company) cannot release a relatively clean and working patch without their customers doing work for free for them then it really speaks volumes about the QA team that works there.

Obvious that Bioware needs to dangle some kind of carrot... why not 30 free class chests per 3 hours of beta play-testing.

As a programmer in real life I know how tests made by normal users are beneficial to every project really. Still I don't in general like the idea of throwing betas/alphas/other unfinished product at customers with "test it please" slogan. Sometimes they even try to take money for testing some beta...

My thoughts exactly. I'm not a programmer, but feel exactly the same way. The only reason I"m doing this is so that I can help shape how production plays as in its current state, it's getting boring. It's one of those, if I don't make an effort to help, I don't have a leg to stand on when I want to complain later. At least in this beta, they are listening to the players to ensure the customer is happy.

For people joining beta, Wavebend is the guy to add. He's like the closest person we have to a beta coordinator ![]()
If you guys want to help test beta, that would be amazing. If you don't want to, that's fine too. There is really no need to draw a line between beta-testers and live-only players.

Said it before. I want to help test the beta but I'm not going to spend $30 just to do it. The second Bioware adds a beta client for X1 or opens up the pc beta to non-pc players I'll sign up! It shouldn't be that hard for Bioware to open up the pc beta client to anyone who has registered their copy of DA:I regardless of platform. If they want more beta testers they need to open it to a bigger audience than just the pc crowd!!!

Personally I'd rather have half a dozen patches in a year than half a year between patches, but that's just me. If you don't want to test then don't test, no need to make a fuss about it.If bioware (a multi million dollar budget company) cannot release a relatively clean and working patch without their customers doing work for free for them then it really speaks volumes about the QA team that works there.
