usually it depends on the day time.
at 22:00 (MET) it's getting quite fast. < a minute.
If not, host a game, play solo until wave 3.
Usually at wave 4 three others join.
don't know why, but in the first 3 waves typically nobody joins.

If it takes more than 10 seconds, it's not finding a match.
Cancel, and try again. always works in 2-3 attempts. Total timne elapsed = under 30 seconds.
