Might as well post my version of the Cerberus Adept if I were to have lash in there (otherwise it's obvious where to put the other points). He's perfect for dumping all the consumables you don't care for (Explosive lvl.1, Strength Enhancer lvl.1). And just focus on you powers and careful positioning in between.

Stealing kills from the back hand of krogans and other cqc is always fun too 
but the real skill is playing cerberus and lashing a phantom behind a team mate so they get synch kill before they can say WTF just happened?

Is the fun if figuring out how to make them work on all maps. And figure out how to handle certain areas on the map so you can keep up the Smash spam. Why the Vanguard is better, as he can reposition more easly, as well as can tank better.

The faster the Lash, the faster the combo followup or new setup. I don't see anything wrong with this. Especially since Lash dps is pitiful anyway.
Same thing for Singularity. I don't know why anyone wouldn't rather choose recharge speed for faster combos over pitiful DOT.

if you are not sending abombs and phantoms flying towards your teammates, you are doing something very very wrong.
I can still combo the abomb onto teammates. Remember playing with a BSNer, think it was the BSNer who always play Smashguard. Anyway, I lashed before he could reach it with biotic charge. And the combo detonation, since I primed it with Lash, blew him up. I thought BC had I-frames. Guess not or lag (I was host).
Either way, the abombing of BSN was done with style. And that's what matters.

doesnt matter what map, learn to lash with both, but this thread is about the Adept not the Vanguard, no wonder threads get locked when you cant stay on topic

I used to always put lash into both. Then on PS3 with new manifest and it opening my eyes to more power style, and as I was playing with these kits more, I noticed;
I'd rather have the Vanguard more buff tanky with full fitness instead, and play him as a pure close quarter kit. And try to adjust this play style to work on any map or part of a map. So pugging with him always felt fresh and new learning experience (especially on the Terminator pipe). Basically became a game of it's own, and why I like this kit so much now compared to not getting him at all before.
The Adept having lash makes more sense because he can't close ground as fast as Vanguard (who should always be in CQ range no matter what), so the distant detonation come in handy for the Adept.
I like the Phoenix Adept as well. I go with a 6/6/6/5/3 build personally.
I was in a match once with the Phoenix. I was with random players and I had to clutch a couple of the later rounds where everyone dropped real early on in the wave and I was able to pull it off and lead the squad to victory. After the match, one of my teammates sent me a message "best. Phoenix Adept. Ever."
It made me smile.
In an almost non gay way..
