We just need some better melee and hand to hand combat comes in handy if you are good on your feet when there are no blasters around If we could get some moves like the ones from GTA IV it would be pretty sweet.

This reminded me of the time when I had to replay the ENTIRE metal gear series just to wash the bad taste of the ending for ME3 out of my mouth.

Had to play a series that actually knew how to end a great story-line instead of...well, yeah.

Luckily the happy ending mod and citadel dlc combo mod fixed it :D

Initially Citadel helped, but in retrospect... It's garbage. It's completely out of character for most of my Shepards and too damn goofy. I know the point isn't to be serious but it's overboard for me.

MGS series is how you end a game proper. RE5 did pretty well from a thematic standpoint too.

Ironically I played Mass Effect 1 for the first time in 2008 to wash away the stink of MGS4's bizarre ending, it wasn't until many years later that I embraced the bizarreness of it.  :P

MGS2 was bizzare. MGS4 just shoved that back into a box of finality.

Which is another relevant point I suppose. Kojima didn't exactly write himself into a corner in the same way Bioware did but he did blow the series lore up a little in a way that was hard to bring closure to. The difference is MGS did manage to bring it all back and conclude it satisfyingly.

And I for one would've preferred ME3 be made primarily of cutscenes if it meant a better ending.

@1:20 see how Ocelot ate a 300 km per second Solid Snake to the face. This is how the Marauder Shields fight should have went down.

Make this happen for MEA, Bioware.
