NDT would be great, but he'd probably sooner rip Mass Effect to shreds on Twitter than do any voice work in the game. He is not a fan AT ALL of Science Fiction movies that aren't hard Sci Fi. I imagine that would apply to games as well. He has no mercy for Sci Fi works that get their science wrong, and there is a lot that the Mass Effect series gets wrong.

 

They'd probably have better luck with Michio Kaku.

Yeah, he'd never do voice work for these games if he spent 5 minutes looking over the science behind the lore.

Kaku actually did do some vague brainstorming as to how some of the technologies could be plausible in a video for GameTrailers that I'm sure you've probably seen, though that's a lot different than an actual commitment to do voicework.

I'd prefer to keeping politically biased real-life people outside of mass effect as much as possible. 

 

So, no NGT for me. But Michio Kaku? As some kind of scientific advisor? Hell yes. That guy is awesome and what every scientist should aspire to be like.

Well, I don't know.  He did voice acting work in "Gravity Falls", and the science in the episode he voiced was… well… he was playing a pig that became a super-genius because he ate some special fungus, and then he was going to build a "smarticle accelerator" to make everyone else into a genius too.  Not exactly hard scifi there.
