Should we have mostly the same races we did in the previous games show up in the new mass effect game, despite being in another galaxy all together? Should there just be a whole new plethora of races with the old ones other then humans being rare sights for the player to see?

 

If the races do show up, should they be changed in this new iteration of the series from what we usually see? Such as the Asari being much more militant and war-like. Turians having a civil war between new colonies. Krogan Scholars. Salarian Street-fighters? Batairans who are not ******* and literally slave trade?

 

What do you want to see? And do remember that no matter what is posted, it'll have absolutely 0 bearing on the actual product in question.

All the races from the Shepard Trilogy should return in the new games.

Its a new galaxy, so of course there will be new races introduced.

 

From the old races, all the council races plus krogan are pretty much confirmed to be in, as for the rest, I dont know.

 

From the leaks all the new races that have been mentioned so far are the remnants, which are like Andromedas protheans (ancient race that has tech all over the place), and the khet, which are described as an enemy race.

If the leak is true, we get 7 squad mates right?  Leak said we get a krogan squadmate.  Cinematic trailer and E3 2014 trailer confirmed.  One of the devs months back said something like "I've never seen Salarians look this good."  I consider that confirmed.  Humans are obviously back, and I'd expect Asari and turians as well.
