To be fair, I have to agree. I suppose it could refer to awkward camera angles and needless fanservice in order to push sales.
How to identify that objectively? That's the hard part.
The term tends to irritate me as it's nonsensical and more often than not used as a scare word. "Oh noes, we're being treated like objects!" Never mind the fact we're all objectified constantly and moreover we all objectify other people all the time.
More often than not what people mean by the word is 'sexualization'. Which I don't think it's inherently negative, by the way. The notion that it is sounds entirely too Victorian.

There is also the Quarian female who is clubbing with the Turian on Eyslium? Who talks about her Ex Human boyfriend who wanted to do it with her in the nude.
And citing the great Javik, "Even primitive quarians were considered attractive in my cycle, a pity no one can appreciate it now... Except perhaps the Commander?"

Not only that...
Considering Asari can live 1,000 years there should be plenty still alive who met Quarians before they had to don the suits.
The big mystery about what they looked like under the hood never made any sense.
I wonder just how involved the Quarians ever were with the overall galactic community. I realize that they sort of became isolated pariahs after that little mishap with geth sentience, but before that... did they ever have, for example, an embassy on the Citadel or any population living there?
I'd think they would have had an embassy at the very least, and possibly be campaigning for a Council seat, but I don't remember seeing any codex entries to that effect.

Which doesn't add up as Tali was treated for her injuries in ME1 by a human doctor and a quick look into any database would have info on what they looked like.
How does it not add up? Even if you can see pics in a database, it's not quite the same as actually seeing it in the flesh. There's still some mystery there. It's not like the appearance of the Quarians was played up as an unknown by anybody in the games, except for us (the player). Joker makes one sarcastic remark about it and that's it.

The Asari had an embassy on Rannoch, the people there died in the Geth Uprising, too. I think the star chart vendor in ME2 had a daughter who worked there.

I know that this thread applies to both male and female armor, but I found this picture and it made me laugh. It sounds all too familiar. Please remember that this is just a joke on my part. My video card decided to act up yesterday while playing ME3. Pro-Tip: Avoid Nvidia Inspector. I changed two settings and my video card wouldn't work at all until after a manual reinstall of the hardware itself. It wasn't even showing up in the registry keys.
Again, this is just a joke. I know that the majority of the thread isn't like this:

The distraction point is genius. This is why, as I say, hard flopping dicks must be prominent in all modern military armour. It'll distract the enemies.

The promo of the protagonist doesn't remind me At all a grandmother. As no armours so far in ME (At least those I recall) remind ed me of one.
Though I think I might be missing your point.
I think you did miss my point. Whatever let's move on.

To me their outfits or at least the female ones are very form fitting, not leaving much more than the skin color and face to the imagination.

I do. The desire to own cute clothes and makeup doesn't preclude the desire to own power armor and an arm cannon.

In that case, I look forward to perusing the arm cannon section of my local Myer once this trend is realised.

It's sort of the role of marketing, innit? To create demand, to put forth some image showing how much better you / your life could be if you used the products.
Being fairly social animals that tend to seek the approval of others, marketing seems to work fairly well on humans.

The solution to the topic title is very simple. Include all types that pleases everyone. So I don't see why this topic reached 100 pages. Outside of s3x sells.

It's the interesting side conversations in this thread that make people come back for more. The original topic, eh, we already solved that. ![]()
