WHAT I WANT THE BOOBS!!!
Don't worry: it's Bioware.
I'm sure there will be boobies aplenty. I would just appreciate it if they weren't flopping out during combat.
Heck, in TW3, Vernon Roche yells at one of his female soldiers for running into battle in a skimpy, half-open shirt.......

Since we're totally off-topic anyway...
Men protecting women with their lives often reflects a double-standard that benefits no-one. Men are expected to sacrifice themselves for women, which does obviously not benefit them when they're dead. Women benefit from this protection and also from being taken care of as mothers. But women were, and sometimes still are, expected to show their gratitude by complete servitude to the men who protect them. They are not seen as equals. A woman who is being protected is in debt. That benefits the man as long as he is still alive.
It gives men power over women, but at the same time it takes the freedom from men to refuse the protector role and live for themselves.
Women pay for their protection with a lack of respect. They are seen as weak and in need of protection, not just because they can give birth. This kind of imbalance makes women not even try to take care of themselves. We see it all the time. Instead of women trying to fix something in the house themselves, they just go to their husband or son to do it for them. These gender roles perpetuate helplessness as normal. Women are valued more than men for biological reasons, but they are not respected for much else in many cases.
It's the other way round for men, but it's an equally raw deal. What use is power when you end up dead? In this age of overpopulation, there is no need whatsoever of men to sacrifice themselves for women. Anybody should try to protect children, so let's leave that aside. Unless it's a small child, the child does not need a mother more than a father.
Neither men nor women are valued for who they are as a person in this scenario. Men are human shields, they are walking wallets when a physical sacrifice is not needed. The majority of karoshi cases in Japan are men. So are suicides out of shame for no longer being able to provide for their family. It's ok for women to seek protection and help when they are in need. From anybody. Men are expected to provide at all cost, and when they fail they are expected to overcome hardship without help. Or at the very least die an honorable death trying to make it up to their families. Needing help is seen as a weakness in men, but it's perfectly fine and normal for women to ask for help. Anybody should be allowed to seek help. This isn't a weakness at all.
Thankfully these harmful gender roles are slowly breaking up in our society. Any (adult) human being should be worthy of protection or be ok to sacrifice for the greater good. All human beings should have the same worth. We're not speaking of the apocalypse here where value must to be assigned according to usefulness in order to survive as a species. These things are of no importance right now.

lol!!! I loved that scene. A part of me wonders if Roche is in love with Ves. I wouldn't blame him.
Naturally, some people complained that it was sexist for Roche to call Ves out on her clothing. smh.

First part: Didn't Roche raise Ves in a sense? Like Geralt and Ciri, but Ves being slightly older when Roche found her?
Second part: That's too stupid. You don't go out fighting without armor.

Sexually objectifying women is not sth that is mandatory to have in games unlike having goverment is pretty mandatory to keep country running.
Wait....
You actually needed to say that?
People think objectifying women is mandatory?

Dear god I hope they're trolling.

There are many problems in the world today, but I think the 1# issue is people not refraining from sleeping with anyone else after they sleep with Triss halfway throughout TW1. If your Geralt isn't a sexually frustrated mess mid-TW3, you've done it wrong.

How about not being forced to sleep with anybody?

Not sleeping with the very best the Witcherverse has to offer? I had not considered such an alternative..

When did I say I am upset? Someone can not like something without getting upset.
Also, the player gets to determine Geralt's character in many other situations, so why not with this?

Clearly not. If you dislike something that someone else does like for any reason whatsoever, you're a whiny crybaby who wants to change it fundamentally and make it different.
At least, that's what idiots online would lead you to believe, because dissenting opinions aren't allowed in this echo chamber.

That's the type of game it is though.
The character is pre-defined and you don't get to change it.

Women come and go like traffic, and while rotating triss' tires was enjoyable, she was just another car and Geralt desires new models to test drive.

But mate, once you've found the proper luxury sedan (with a fire-red paintjob), you'll never need to upgrade again. Even the latest raven-black SUV can't compare, no matter what kind of history the make boasts.

yes there's no mandatory romance in TW3, you have to affirm either a continuing one with Triss or Yen, plus a few ONS options.Apparently so.

Doesn't mean he's no longer a womanizer.

If you have to affirm, doesn't that mean it is mandatory due to the definition of 'have to'?
My reply was to the whole "You can't change his core personality" and "He is pre-defined". There are Witcher fans who are praising it as being better at being your character than Bioware protagonists.
But maybe we should stop before it becomes another CDPR v Bioware thread.

True, for some reason, Kaidan and Jacob thought my Shepard and them had something going, instead of her merely getting an extra bang in in case she didn't survive the final fight.
Her heart was dead set on Zaeed, whom gave her the 'gina tingles with his bad boy behavior. ![]()

I didn't know that, but still I can't help but ship them a bit.
Yeah, I think Ves was being reckless for whatever reason. The fact that Roche called her out on it means that it's something she doesn't normally do. I think Roche's swashbuckler description fits her perfectly.
As for Sorceresses and sleeping around. Aside from a Succubus I think my canon Geralt has slept with only Triss and Yen. With Triss being the chosen one at the end. ![]()
The romances in TW3 aren't mandatory, you don't have to choose either.

lol!! Now I keep imagining Zaeed saying "It's just goddamn sex." with that accent of his.
