Idk clothes made Josephine very unattractive.
And yet a lot of people liked her.

Yes, the major problem I saw people listing for DAI (empty open words, dozens of fetch quests, short main plot, crappy antagonist, combat problems, bugs and glitches,) Are caused by Bioware listening to SJW
.
People here don't hate attractive people, and most don't have problems with skimpy clothes. Those people have problem on those outfits IN COMBAT. The game would still have those beautiful outfits Who show of How attractive characters are.
Everything is secretly an SJW agenda, they are the Illuminati ![]()

Josephine wasn't very unattractive.

Sliced Juicy Watermelons are out to stain the world with their juice! We shall have to duck and hide from their endless seedguns! No white clothes shall be safe again. For see, if you see a watermelon, beware. If it's sliced and dripping with juice, it's going to ruin video games.
It sounds like what OP wants is for Miranda to be wearing something like this

instead of this

on a combat mission or in a hazardous environment.
This really doesn't seem that unreasonable so I am wondering why some of you are spouting off about the "SJW" menace in this thread.
Josephine wasn't very unattractive.
I mean she didn't look like a man like Cassandra but she was still not at her best with that outfit and that hairstyle.
I don't know in your case, but I have a hunch that most people who feel this way are probably straight dudes. Imagine something you find extremely sexually unappealing (dude's bulging crotch, unshaved female legs, whatever). Now imagine that the camera makes a point of making that thing huge, point and center for like 5 minutes in a conversation that has nothing to do with sex on the assumption that you *would* find said thing appealing. (And with some potential subtext that a prinicpal reason you are even talking to that character is because you *should* find that thing appealing). Also imagine that the character who has this feature is designed in such a way that this feature is accentuated at all times.
This is how I hazard a lot of straight women/gay men/etc. feel about Miranda's gratuitous ass shots in non romance conversations. It's certainly how I felt. Miranda's ass shot and catsuit is roughly analogous to me as short shorts/hairy leg shots would be to most straight guys I know.
No part of the human anatomy male or female offends me much or at all really and certainly not one that is clothed and in a video game.
Idk clothes made Josephine very unattractive.
I did not play DA:I so I cant really say. But if people want catsuits so be it when a character is not on mission. We just dont want it in combat. You would probably kill yourself in high heels before anyone could shoot you ![]()

That outfit worked really well for Miranda. Was practical as it offered protection yet also still allowed her to use her appearance to her advantage.
And yet a lot of people liked her.
More people liked Miranda and Morrigan.
I mean she didn't look like a man like Cassandra but she was still not at her best with that outfit and that hairstyle.
I liked her hairstyle. I wish we had it as an option in the CC.
No part of the human anatomy male or female offends me much or at all really and certain not one that is clothed and in a video game.
It's not a matter of it being offensive. Miranda's butt isn't offensive to me. It's a matter of the game assuming things about you that are blatently inaccurate when there is no need to assume *anything* about you in that particular situation. It's about the game exporting it's own sexual expectations onto me without giving me the option to say no.

Bioware did this a lot with Shepard. Assuming how you the player would play them.

Right but to me it's especially egregious when it more or less implies my demographic doesn't or shouldn't even be playing. Otherwise, it's just annoying.
Some people are too obsessed with SJW, I guess.
This really doesn't seem that unreasonable so I am wondering why some of you are spouting off about the "SJW" menace in this thread.

To be fair the DA team hasn't designed a single outfit that looked good. I've learned to not judge DA characters based on their clothes.

Oh, I agree. I'm in the same boat as you with this.
More people liked Miranda and Morrigan.
So?More people liked Miranda and Morrigan.
I love Cass. As other people Who loved Morrigan and Miranda.I mean she didn't look like a man like Cassandra but she was still not at her best with that outfit and that hairstyle.
I think the popularity of Morrigan and Miranda also have a lot to do with them being mandatory female party members you can't miss that you can explicitly come on to quickly.
I'd like to see a straw poll about that. Josie is very well liked, as is Cass. I've heard a lot of people talk smack about Miranda's attitude and intentionally had her die in ME2 during the SM. Morrigan was so disliked that a mod called "Slap Morrigan" exists. I saw posters brag about stabbing her during Witch Hunt, so I don't think she's as beloved as a few posters might think.

Varric looks decent. Dorian and Vivienne too.
Architect?
They have a handful of good ones. But you are right - most of them are mediocre at best (Blackwall's look terrible in DA:I, at least for me).

And that both have had multiple games and EU material dedicated to them.
Jacob was a mandatory male member, as Alistair was, and yet the two have very different reactions from the fanbase. Not to mention that both Morrigan and Miranda have their share of people who dislike/hate them.I think the popularity of Morrigan and Miranda also have a lot to do with them being mandatory female party members you can't miss that you can explicitly come on to quickly.
