@canarius That's all this thread is: Opinions. There is no "SJW agenda," there is no hating on straight men. There is no hating on sex or sexy characters. You find Ashley's mini-skirt just fine. You found Miranda's bodysuit just fine. I respect your opinion, since this is about something as subjective as attractiveness, as well as armor for a space fantasy game.
I thought the mini-skirt was ill-suited for Ashley. It didn't seem to fit the personality that she had been given. It wasn't terrible, it was just too much imho. Either the makeup and the long hair, or just mini-skirt and boots would have not been as jarring for me. Everything all together looked bad in my eyes. I don't dislike the character and she lives in most of my games. I even met the VA. Kimberly Brooks is a total sweetheart, and loved voicing Ash.
I just didn't like Miranda's catsuit as an aesthetic choice. I put her in the black armor, mainly because I just think it looks nicer on her. It isn't because of any "agenda" on my part, I just prefer the way it looks for battle.
I would never ask BioWare to change the older games, but I am going to request new ideas going forward. In this case, I like armor over catsuits. No double meaning, no bullcrap. I prefer armor over catsuits in combat. Out of combat? Hey, what is ever comfy for you so long as it isn't beige.
DA:I made me hate beige all over again.
Sometimes, it isn't about an "agenda." Sometimes, it's a simple as "I'd like this for ME:A." I really wish folks would quit reading agendas into requests like this.
