They should be able to put whatever they want in their own creation.

By all means, put whatever they want in.  Just don't dictate to me how I'm *supposed* to respond in a game about making choices.  I'm not asking for Miranda to be removed.  I'm asking them *not* to assume I want to stare at her ass.

I don't think their armor are just leather suits. They are made almost 200 years in the future. I bet they are much more than just leather suits. They are way ahead of today's technology. I don't think we should compare armor of today with armor of Mass Effect games.

Then why the f*** is every Alliance soldier and Shepard (and Krogans, Mercenaries, Turians...) wearing those heavy armors that just slow you down and restrict your movement? Why not just dump those stupid armors and wear those tight leather-like suits that are very light and protect you just as good? It's cheaper, more comfortable, lets you move freely, protects just as good...

And yet the vast majority of characters in the game Who fight have normal armours.
I don't mind people theorizing on this, but there's no proof of it.

We are talking about a game set about 200 years in the future. Why do you show pictures of soldiers from our time?

Mass Effect weaponry is just as if not more dangerous than modern weaponry, yet you don't see people wearing catsuits in today's militaries. So why would they wear catsuits in the future, when weapons could be even deadlier?

Yes, overly sexualized characters and catsuits. I enjoy them.

After seeing the new look of the mako in the trailer, wouldn't you enjoy having that one instead of the mako in ME1?

I'm going to be playing after the husband leaves for work.  I can't play the new ME just yet, and I don't know how it controls.  I have fun exploring in ME1 though.  That wonky little vehicle has grown on me.  Of course I like the one previewed, but it'll be at least a year before I can play the game.  I'm guessing 2016 for the ME:A release date.

In light of Equestris' comment, allow me to explain the stupid whine known as "manspreading."  Basically, when a guy sits, he usually sits with his legs open fairly wide.  Oftentimes, this is because there is little to no room to stretch out, and most guys have long legs.  The real fanatics of the world think this is another symptom of widespread sexism.  I've found if someone is sitting like that on a crowded bus or rail line, if I ask politely, they'll make room.  I've also seen kids take up too much room with their backpacks and women with their purses.  Is "kidspreading" and "pursespreading" next?    My husband is 6'5" and I have zero sympathy for those that make that their flag to wave.

I actually think thats how they should do it.

I agree with you on that. Having options is the best way to appease both sides.

But would Miranda wear that suit if we were walking on the moon?

Yeah, this world is NOT made for people taller than six feet. I still have nightmares about those horrid school desks with the chair attached.

Ashley's armor was pretty heavy but looking good at the same time. As for Miranda, she is a biotic and her fighting style requires agility. Also, she is a Cerberus agent so she can wear whatever she wants.

It's also not made for people who are 5'1 either.  I wish hobbits were real.  Then I might have pants that weren't too long.

I'm not sure how a response is dictated. I don't really find these scenes erotic and wouldn't have thought much of it if I had not visited these forums. Personally I found when Aria kissed my fem shep far more erotic and appealing sexually and that's part of my point. The developer has no idea how you will respond, they just try to create something they believe the player will enjoy. Sure now they do know about this possibly but when they were making the game I doubt they imagined it would illict such a response.

Kaidan is a biotic and wears armor, Tela Vasir is a biotic and wears armor. Agility is a poor argument because light and medium armor exists

In regards to Ashley's armor that's pretty much what people are asking for, functional armor that looks stylish

Ashley's outfit...heavy ?
If you're talking about her armour, nobody is complaining about hers.
Agility doesn't mean lack of armours, Which Cerberus themselves shown in ME3.

True, weaponry is deadlier but the armors are more protective. I mean we don't know what that armor is made of. It could be made of leather but maybe it has some biotic barrier inside the leather. Or maybe something else that we don't know about. Maybe they found a way to make sexy looking armor but very protective at the same time. This is many years in the future. It shouldn't be compared to today's technology.

I'm not a big fan of asari being all up ons and my Shepard just standing there either, believe me.  Like I said, I don't think they had explicitly bad intentions with any of this.  I think they were just being obtuse and oblivious.  Now, however, they know.

Most biotics in the games wear some degree of armor, especially if they're part of a military or mercenary group.

My Shepard was a Sentinel just like Miranda and he still wore heavy armor. So did Kaidan. And Vasir. And Liara. And Javik...

Yeah, this world is NOT made for people taller than six feet. I still have nightmares about those horrid school desks with the chair attached.

And sitting on a bus! One time in a school field trip I had to stand for most of the trip because literally I could not fit in the seats.

His fighting style is different then. Or maybe he likes wearing heavy armor to protect himself. Kaiden and Miranda aren't the same people. It's ok for them to have different preferences. Besides Kaiden is an alliance soldier not a Cerberus agent.

Light armor

Okay. I didn't know if people considered it a catsuit or accepted armor.
