Y'all wanna strip mass effect off its soul. why don't you go play halo or something.

If consider that the soul of the game then....  :?  :?  :?  :?  :?

I learn something new everyday.  Apparently Miranda's ass and EDI's cameltoe are "the soul" of Mass Effect.

Why did I hear "the soul" in Jacob's voice?   "The sooooooooooul"

Um, what?

I hope to the gods that person was joking...

The funny part is that I never saw it until someone on BSN posted a picture lol

I've seen it too, but I guess my reaction is, "Meh."  I usually ignore EDI from the waist down, and I've seen that banshee pic only once.  It's not enough to mentally scar me.   ;)

I was the first person in my house to accidentally look at lemonparty.  So yeah, I'd believe it.

Weird. I never noticed the EDI Cameltoe you lot speak of.

I think anybody can be sexualised depending on what ones state of mind is. That's how fetishism starts.

For instance we have the "furry" phenomenon. While I think it's just plain ridiculous, people are turned on by it.

I have heard of people who are sexually aroused by nuns. Honest nuns don't have sex, but the innocence, the chaste and the effort to cover up with the nun outfit is a major turn on for some.

anyone with a thing for nuns hasn't ever seen how hot a habit is and how unattractive religious zealotry (even if it takes the form of charity and such) can be

I wouldn't strip Mass Effect of its soul.

Although I would strip Kasumi of a few things =P

yeah, sweat and clammy skin

but maybe my experience is tainted by nuns who live in places like New Orleans, not ideal wool garment locales

Sex appeal is perfectly fine, just as long as it's tasteful.

This.

It depends on the setting too. A character going into battle or exploring an uncharted world that is normally hostile to life, shouldn't be wearing heels or an outfit that exposes skin. Combat armor / exosuit with helmet, please.

But if that same character is hanging out off duty in Andromeda's version of Purgatory, Eternity, or Afterlife? There the battle armor would be weird, and that same character would not be out of place wearing something sexy.

On that note, I hope the game follows in the footsteps of ME3 and has characters wear different clothing while off duty.

After second thought, I think I'll just be running every mission completely naked!

There's a mod for that in ME3.  You can even tweak the coalesced file to where the nude "armor" mesh has max stats.  You can do it with some of the more, um, revealing Asari dancer outfits too.  I couldn't do that myself.  :P

The overt oversexualization of ME2 and ME3 is one of the things that makes me think of ME1 much more fondly than it's sequels. The games got dumber and more juvenile with each installment and the butt-cam and robot camel-toe are glaring reminders of that fact.

Like seriously, I'm going to be cringing if we have characters running around in stiletto's, catsuits, spandex, etc.

EDIT: I am mainly referring to the combat outfits, casual outfits are ok

EDIT 2: This has nothing to do with being politically correct, as I could care less about that bullcrap. This is about logic and practicality

Its a Sci-Fi VIDEOGAME. Who cares about logic and practicality.

Seriously, if it were left to some people, ME:A would be.....nevermind....I don't want to get banned.

Eh, I'd hesitate to call a game "dumb" because of an NPC's attire. Whatever I thought of butt-cam (which really wasn't much) I thought ME2 was a fantastic game.

I prefer the sexualization and such to the diving suits that the ME1 armors were

Yeah, it wasn't until ME3 when we started seeing really good armor designs

Everyone should be covered head to toe (no catsuits, either), and to balance it out, the sex scenes should be 30 minutes long and very graphic.

Then I guess we'll have to disagree on ME2 being dumber than ME1.

We need more of this for our female companions:

Actually we just need a new Metroid. A REAL Metroid. *shakes fist at Nintendo*

Crappy early PS360-gen tech didn't help either. The idea was cool tho that the materials are so advanced there's no need for metal plates anymore
