Or kick those friends out and import friends like me from abroad to play video games with!

I like my friends. No thanks.

Yeah, I think I'm done with Destiny after I finish up with House of Wolves, which will be soon. I was contemplating whether I should buy this because of the increased price and the idea of spending almost $150 on this game, but this dickhead's flippant attitude towards the day one player base has made up my mind for me.

If anything, we should be rewarded over the newbs for our dedication and loyalty, but with this stunt Bungie is really pushing it.

Haven't touched Destiny in weeks after HoW. It was just more of the same like TDB. Wasn't planning on buying any future DLC or sequels, but after reading that, I know I made the right choice.

Besides, I've got Halo 5, Fallout 4, Black Ops 3, and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition to look forward to this year.

Any time somebody asks me a question I don't want to answer I'm going to respond with:

"...It's about value."

Lol don't forget the long, awkward pause beforehand.

Aye, best RPG of 2015. After NBA 2K16 of course.

That pause spoke volumes.

Wow, is this real? The Taken King is $60, same as the base game, and you're effectively buying Destiny AGAIN?

Question- Why does ANYONE support this kind of behavior? This is something all gamers should boycott. My goodness.

My jaw dropped when I heard the price tag. Not that I was going to buy it anyway.

I have the DLC pass for the first two (which I paid for) but haven't even downloaded.

What's the deal with the emotes they reference, anyway? I'm picturing them asking $60 for emoticons.

If anything the Taken King is going to divide the fanbase even further with it's price tag.

Different dances or something like that, I could honestly care less about the emotes.

Glad I never got caught up in the hype for this game. Absolutely not buying it now, though.

It seems like they're tapping into the financially stupid 18-19 market. Or the kids who stole mommy's credit card.

Maybe this is a bigger demographic than I realize and Bungie knows what they're doing. I don't know.

Console gamers are the reason for this kind of behavior. No ones likes hearing that, but it's true. These companies know they can continue to milk console gamers dry, and they may complain a little, similar to how they say they aren't going to buy the next Call of Duty, and yet they are the first ones in line at their local GameStop on launch day.

There is no PC version of Destiny. Why do you think that is?

That is absolutely false and a terrible attitude to have.

Part of the reason I always play GTA Online in invite-only servers is so I can avoid the kids wrongly playing the game because they don't have the maturity level for it and their parents don't care to control their children's media consumption. I don't know if Destiny suffers from that though. Back when I played Destiny I always came across fellow adults.

I wouldn't know about this idiotic bracket of the console market myself. I'm a 30 something console gamer. The only people on my PS3 friendlist are 30 somethings. The only friends on XBox One are over 40 now.

Not to say old people can't be stupid with money, but take my word for it, these people are OK at least.

Whatever picture you have in your head, it's not that simple.

If anything, I see more immaturity from rabid PC users these days. They act like they just built their first gaming PC and have to announce it to the world. Like it's special and unique or something. I did this sh*t 20 years ago.

People in general are really bad about not be able to wait and needing to have things "now", these days. I know I can be bad about it with certain games, but on the whole I'd say that I am fairly good about being able to wait for a price drop or buying cheaper off ebay. But that's why boycotts will never work in a nutshell, people have to have things now.

The other big thing that is coming with this is the 3 exotic class items that give XP bonuses. That is the one and only reason that I'm considering buying the Collector's Edition.

That said, Deej said there would be something in the Weekly Update this week, so hopefully he can do some damage control.

Hahaha, no instead PC has games like Mechwarrior online and Star Citizen with massive pay walls and pay to win with $250 mechs or ships & weapons lol.

Wow. That seems incredibly lame.

So basically people who bought the game when it came out, then want to play the new content are having to spend $140+ plus for the base game, two DLC and the ability to break dance?

Someone in their pricing unit deserves a F+.

It's new to me though that Destiny isn't on PC. I had always thought it was.

It seems like a natural fit, if anything because a lot of MMO and FPS gamers prefer PCs.
