Why?  I really want to know.  It's just boss spam.

Is it for the credits?  I don't think it's

sinful for anyone to want a challenge or anything.

So is it for the challenge?  To me, it's a little boring, and I'd rather

retar a roof, like in Shawshank Redemption, but until I dropped

dead.

Someone please fill me in on what I'm doing wrong.

Please give me builds or something that will make me

go and WANT to play!

To all of you haters, it's not a L2P problem. To each

his own, right?  This is my thread, my

house, so please be civil

and constructive.  Please don't derail or

destroy this thread.  I want to see each person's opinion and

his own build that will convince me.  Crossy my

keyboard and hope to die.

Thanks!

Jack

It's for when the lobby is too OP for gold. Otherwise it's the poor gold pug life for us. The poorer the pugs, the more interesting. No so for Platinum, where it helps to have one other competent player around if pugging.

I love Platinum, because I don't get bored during game. Boss fights are sexy.

Think of it as the ultimate challenge. Probably Harbinger is having the ultimate orgasm, controlling all that stuff.

He is a control freak after all. Platinum

is like the new Silver nowadays.

Severly OP kits, gears, consumables.

Retarded AI all over, very easy to cheese, if you play with friends

And BSN'ers who have no

lives, like me.

Off the record, we should start a MEA (Mass Effect Anonymus) for addicts, like me and offer

disability packages, like the obese and blind people have. Also, you could take

Benefits of nerd addict chicks at the meetings, and maybe you'd get laid in your liftime.

Peace the ****

Out.

Oh okay, thanks.  I'm glad you're the first to respond, actually.

Man, do you have any builds you'd like to share?

This would be a great help, and it would contribute to the

thread.

Is there a specific map or faction I should worry

about?

You can add whatever info you think will help,

dude.

Thanks!

Jack.

I don't have any Platinum builds. But Platinum builds are easy. Just bring good weapon and top of the line consumables. Shoot all things in the face.

I don't, normally.

Almost do, with the right people, but I...

Feel frustrated most of the time that I play...

Guilty even for getting carried by people sometimes.

But with the right people it's fun.

Not most of the time, but occasionally.

Really not fun if it's Collectors, tho'.

It's a fun challenge.  Doing Platinum randomizer is even more of a fun challenge!

Plus, sometimes you just gotta dance with the triple Primes!

Do they?

I have heard a lot of people say this, but I

hope they are joking.  One of my friends,

he always wants to play Plat and

is never interested in Gold.  He says Gold

neutered his feels for the game.

For me, it's all about gold.  I think it's

great and perfect for me, but I want to do Platinum some

justice and give it a fair shot.  Hence, this thread.

But certain setups and lobbies are too OP for gold otherwise.

Oh, well, I didn't think of that, since I

am usually not into playing OP kits.

Gee, I never thought of that, I guess.

You may be onto something there.

Are all kits in Plat OP though?  Then that's

so boring in my opinion still.  I'd still rather

retar a roof.  You know, until I'm

dead or something.

Thanks.

That's like having the main course of all factions really.

What else could be harder? Smaller maps? What

happens if Biovar makes an Element Zero diffculty in MEA?

If PUGz come up with a new FWGG farming technique, or a Box of Shame? It'll ruin the game.

You need as much practice as you can get, and a lots of consumables.

Grow up and play your difficulty, if you're not ready. Everybody needs to start lower, and then slowly move

up, as your skill develops. I remember I thought I was the best in 2012, but I was nowhere

near to be even on Gold.

A good reality check is what I got, when they released Platinum difficulty and the hazard maps.

Radioactive rain, snow storm, omg, I was lost. My mood went down, like my grandma's Hybiscus

plant in the winter. But the credits are so good!

Sounds like it would be even more half-assed than Platinum is.

And they couldn't even beat Platinum in testing, according to their own admission.

Like, ****.

I used to enjoy playing Platinum with friends for the challenge, for the teamwork and for the credits, back when I had friends to play with and all of us were eager to unlock all the URs.
Without friends and without the need for credits, I lost all my interest in playing Platinum.

Yes Platinum is so much harder when the pugs like to camp and their dps is so pitiful. Strange how this concept eludes players. ... Heck, they don't even have to be killing much. Just act as good decoys that can stay alive long enough.

I don't think you could get too OP for Plat.

I mean it's like hot mopping a roof in summer. Long and miserable.

If you don't bring like water and high powered stuff with you.

It just goes on forever.

Shade is good too. But an umbrella is probably going to get in the way of the mopping.

I'd get good in Gold first. It's like camp.

Like this one time, in Biotics camp, I stuck an acolyte in my *****.

Not the gun. No way man. That could hurt. Maybe.

I mean like the minion kind. God, I wish I wasn't out of cheetos right now.

Well, that's all I got for now.

Try not to fall off the ladder on your way up to the roof.

It sucks playing video games when you're in a body cast.

Was going to like, then I seen mention of Acolyte. You then lost me and I didn't read the rest.

This is way more in depth and enjoyable compared to Jack's other topic.
