Whatever your N7 rank is on Me3 multiplayer,
Will it transfer to the one thanks to the 360 compatible patch?

I'm sure lots of things that are worthless will transfer, so....
Probably.

This topic is not serious enough. I'm getting out while I can. ... I might be back.

As far as I understand yes. Here's the hard boiled question I have to ask

If they implement mp on xbone is a different matter. But my bet is yes as it will hopefully introduce existing One players who have been hiding under rocks and committing blasphemy by not playing it to begin with.

anything stored on the EA Servers (your multiplayer data) is linked to your profile and not your console

Yes, but your N7 & manifest are currently kept separate across different platforms. Only your Galactic Readiness (and I think maybe MP-earned War Assets) are cross-platform.

The emulator creates a virtual XBox 360 so whether you are on XBox one or XBox 360 the servers would still register you as being on 360

Ah, I see. I didn't know it was going to be an emulator. But it makes sense I guess.

No, they're going to install the 360 hardware into the X-Bone via a patch.

I have no idea what the hardware difference is between a 360 and an XBone, so for all I know the only reason it isn't currently back-compatible is because of software restrictions which are being lifted. Especially because it will work with discs, which means, y'know, the hardware required is already in there.

Lol it's ok. I get cranky when I'm sleepy. It's 1.30am, I've been up since 5am and I almost just got my ass kicked by an Atlas. Almost.
