Adding specific bonuses to specific weapons makes them less versatile, not more.

I wouldn't confirm that,

as it adds more tactical possibilities.

You would be able to try different setups and can experiment,  and overcome the weaknesses

with your weapons.

Now we have THE shield stripper = Acolyte

(maybe also Talon.      - Adas/Reegar often are not really an option)

And still there will be ammo types so that YOUR kind of versatility won't be gone (completely).

Meh - get a bit more Planetside on the damned thing so that maps are big enough for weapon accuracy over range to actually make a difference, big enough to put in vehicles (though not necessarily the Mako) like whatever the Khet equivalent of a Geth Armature turns out to be (and I'm not just saying this because I want Kakliosaur-mounted Krogan cavalry drop-shipped in*)

Since they're putting in Jetpacks (even more Planetside-y) give us a decent parkour movement system to compliment it, literally run up the side of buildings with jetpack assistance to backflip across to another, dual-SMGs blazing in full John Woo style.

Basically for the SP game they're creating bigger, prettier maps (as far as I can gather from the rumour-mill) with more scope for movement (jetpacks) and vehicles (Mako) and smooth transitions between ground and space (it *sounds* like planet landings in the Tempest, or at least Mako drops, will be happening - more like ME1 than ME3) - I'd like to see some of that transition into the MP game... I don't want ME3MP with better graphics, I want ME3MP with more verticality, better scope to move around fluidly, bigger spaces and bigger, better and smarter enemies.

*oh, wait, yes I am!

It'd be cool if we didn't have to stare at boring boxes while in the store, but instead, it would show your selected kit in the shop buying stuff from the Turian shop keeper, while you're getting a lesson how to hunt.

Spoiler

or he berates you and tells you to hurry up and buy something then get out because you let Sovereign rekt the lolCouncil.

Whatever the Fox News-Palin-Ted Cruz-O'Riley types look and act like nowadays, that should be the main hero. I'd love to be present on the SP section if that'd happen!

Hey, I'm a right-winger! I'd be perfect! Move over, Sheploo--Tantum Dic Conservative is coming to destroy the SP forums!

I hope bioware out does themselves and makes a female with bigger boobs than isabela from DA2

I have yet to play any other BioWare games. Still stuck in DA:O just after that first town when you finally have your own party and I guess my first camping. I'm sure once this game really sets it's hooks into me I'll be really into it, but until then...

And there's a big boobed female in DA2 name IsABella. You work for BioWare or something.

It doesn't matter really, whichever kits are reintroduced or new added, they wil be nerfed to death in the weekly balance changes.

i'll just settle for a game that has got fewer glitches/bugs personally.  At least the Mako is back (not in MP, well we could hope perhaps with bonuses for running people down).

Don't care so long as it works and there's at least one gun in the game that sounds really cool

I take it back.

If melee damage and shield strength are on the same evo tree then someone is gonna get some nightshade claws to the neck

Ver-sa-tile: Able to adapt or be adapted to many different functions or activities. In other words, Jack of all trades, master of none. If you are specializing a weapon towards a certain function you are by definition making it less good at something else aka less versatile.

For record I agree with your point and would too prefer more specialized weapons rather than your Talon, Harrier, Wraith, Arc pistol type guns that work well no matter the kit or build. It's just that I see a lot of people throw this word around without knowing what it means. And not just around BSN.

Honestly the only thing I really want to see is the auto "aim" fixed so I don't zoom in on the nearest Swarmer when trying to quick-scope.

thanks for the lecture ;)

this is correct if you refer to one specific weapon.

my meaning rather was: have more weapons for specific situations = be more versatile in these situations.
I wrote that the acolyte and maybe Talon are the only viable shield strippers.
and the CSMG is it for armor (only working with armor piercing though)

Oh of course I would also love the Javelin to be featured. Dat
look! Also it has one of
the best sounds. Only an
idiot would not want it back. The question
is: is Bioware smart enough to understand that we want it
back!

I just hope they do it right. My goats are running out males to repopulate my sacrifices.

I just hope that by adding new and improved mechanics they don't take away from the core mp that we love.

Gears of War 2 was perfect (3 good as well), but along came Judgement with new mechanics or whatever you call the implementation of 'this will be cool, they will love this!' improvements. It near enough killed the whole franchise.

We must tread carefully.

Imma go out on a limb here. New ****. Sure, some of the stuff we have is nice and all, but I'd rather not have recycled kits and gear. I want BW to wow me again with all sorts of new wicked kits and lethal weapons.

I would like to see powers recycled less even if that means fewer characters overall.

Honestly though I'm guessing the multiplayer aspect of ME4 won't be as distinct from the main game as it was in 3. I'm expecting something more along the lines of Borderlands where you can play through basically the entire game with or without friends.

What I would really love for this next game is Pvp.
