What I would really love for this next game is Pvp.
Go away.
Go away.
PvE just doesn't do it for me anymore. There's a lot of interesting possibilities for PvP in the Mass Effect mechanics that I think would be a nice change of pace from your typical arena shooter.
^ Not that I'm against new things, but unless they'll introduce dedicated servers or write completely new netcode for ME:A, PvP is not an option, I don't want to lag/ rubberband/ warp through whole map to get headshot by some camper. If you ever player DA:I MP, you'll know what I mean.

I will definitely be sad if there is no Shadow. Which there probably won't be, what with there being no N7 war vs Cerberus.

Asari.
Actually, I hope it would be possible to build your own very unique kit with a reward system when playing it over and over again.
Could make every player almost unique in MP. Won´t happen but can be mentioned.

Like getting rid of the damage bonus for weapons via tactical cloak. ( How does adaptive cloaking damage ? )
Would be a start.
It´s too convenient to scale difficulty via health bars ...
1000 rounds to clip a cannibal ... we were working hard on the balance of this game ... prepare me4:A disappointment ?
We will see.
The only thing I am "almost" certain - Fallout 4 will ease the pain.
I would like to see powers recycled less even if that means fewer characters overall.
Join the WiiU master race. Folks don't play recycled characters there.
Another thing I hope to see in ME:A is faster weapon transitions. You know something is wrong when reloading the primary is faster than switching to secondary. Kind of makes carrying a secondary obsolete unless it's a specific purpose weapon like an acolyte for shields, some ULM SMG for Guardians, a Scorpion for Phantoms etc..

Agreed. I also liked the greater use of differing defense multipliers for weapon classes from ME2. One gun setups shouldn't be so much more effective on weapon kits like most soldiers and infiltrators are. Being forced to use the right tool for the job is fun, but only if the time you gain by using the correct weapon for the defense makes up for the time it took to switch to said weapon.

the real problem is keeping two weapons for the right defenses can be painful for your cooldowns though, which is the problem. unless you're using low weight weapon combos(acolyte with csmg/hurricane) then you'll be punished for trying to play towards enemy defense.
