this is my personal wishlist for things to appear in the next mass effect game. you are welcome to ad yours but please keep a nice and constructive tone.

 

* first of all I know that Shepard's story is over but that dosen't mean it can not be refereed to in banter and chat in the new galaxy, with legends comes stories.

 

*I would love some details about the sheapard from the destroy ending, did the commander find their LI and recover from the assault on earth. did shepard ever learn to dance? did shepard from control have any interaction with their former team?  just give me some hints and my inner fangirl will finally be at rest. (no the "hints" in the extended cut dlc wasn't enough, it just opened for more questions.....)

 

* it would to be cool to have some unlikely stories come up, like it wasn't sheapard but blasto who saved everyone.

 

* and phrases and sayings thous would be the best. "****. Your run slower then joker."
a perfect shot could be called a "Vakarian".

 

* the keep from dragon age, please give me some thing like that. Its an awesome tool!

 

personal I don't need to see the old character but please Bioware don't act like they never existed

 

now Bioware I'll try to be a good girl, and hope you and santa thinks so to xD

I need to know the context of the game setting.  I have a feeling that those sorts of references aren't going to make much sense given the timeline and location of this group of characters.

OP: I want the opposite. I don't want any further canon of what happened to/with Shepard in any form, even vague mentions. I prefer my imagination over Bioware's.

I think it's good for Bioware to let Shepard et al rest in pieces. Cheap cameos would be just that - cheap. Same universe, same aesthetic, new everything else is the way to go.

 

I do think that we'll need a Keep analog going forward. It works really well in DAI, and seems to solve nearly every problem regarding borked plot flags from traditional save imports (forget cross platform). It's nice to be able to share your custom world states with people too. I can think of a few ways they could further improve it as well.

I can see how it would become cheap very easy, I just really liked how in DAII and DAI your actions from previous games mattered and that people in kirkwall and skyhold was marked by previous events. and I hoped bioware would be able to pull it of once more.

Mass Effect and Santa share a common dream of disillusionment caused by fantasy and reality crossing over. Inspired me to write some lyrics on the theme of a Mass Effect xmas message that I based around the Greg Lake "I believe in Father Xmas"

 

I Believe in Commander Shepard

 

They said there'd be Reaper battles

They said we'd see war assets

But instead it was all just foreplay

A marketing seduction trip

I remember what was promised

All the hype spread through these wires

The marketing spells weave persistent hard sell

All the praise from the media choir

 

I was sold on the dream of Shepard

I was sold on the Mass Effect

It was more than a fairy story

In my mind it was perfect

And I believed in Commander Shepard

As my eyes beheld my treasured prize

I couldn't rest until I finished my quest

Then the scales fell from my eyes

 

I had wished for a fitting ending

As I gathered my forces for the final fight

All the darkness of the cycles

Would be consumed in Shepard's light

They said there'd be Reaper battles

They said we'd see war assets

But in the end all we got was a freaking Glow-Bot

Not the great way to end an epic quest

What i want...lets see 

-A Mass Effect Andromeda xbox one bundle with controls elite, well two (the other for my brother)

-A collectors edition of Mass Effect Andromeda

I already have the money for that, hoping they release something like what i want.

-For the story that the up grades in the mako have and impact like in Mass Effect 2.

-Blue kids this time [at the final chapter perhaps, 2022 =( ].

-That we can choose to let everyone know what we have done or not (in the game).

-Having a new badass space hamster/eezo (jack's pet) and more activities with it.

-Have more content on story and impact in the love interest.

-More maps or modes after the year and half of release for the multiplayer (even if i have to pay i wouldn't mind).

-That earning the achievements would be something difficult, not like, you give a step...  unlock a new achievement.

-Have more things to do with the money (like if we have so much money we can contract to an entire private army, just kidding)

 

For what you ask maybe and probably we'll have something like you said before

 

10:33 "its not an essential part of the story" but he doesn't say she is not mentioned at all, we'll have reference of her... well after all she helped giving shape to an entire galaxy (literally), i wish something like our new character do an extraordinary act and a krogan call her a shepard or see a quarian vas normandy or vas vakarian, read a part of "the journeys with the prothean" something like that.
