So... I was wondering what all of the super high-DPS kits in the game would be?

 

For example, I think most of us would agree that any flamer+acolyte build(other flamer builds), talon/Javelin GI, reeger'd AIU or Krogard, various Valkyrie or Huntress setups, or a well-played Talon Merc.

 

Also, I'm thinking about just the character and not the person playing it, as someone who is really good can probably do a lot of DPS and be efficient with most setups.

 

Is there anything else that stands out as worthy of mention, or other things that maybe not so seen in lobbies?

TGI with any good assault rifle, especially the Harrier.

Talon Slayer with Disruptor for area DPS. Tech burst and then everything in 5m is dead. Not really seen in ultra tryhard speedruns though, not because the class itself is bad, but because you can only have either wallhack or 9 missiles and as a close combat character it does depend on having an exact read on the flow of spawns rather than letting enemies come to you. Still, in a pug situation where you don't give a **** about missiles, disruptor slayer is demi-god, possibly god-tier in racking up kills per time on mooks and elite mooks, depending on your game sense.

 

N7 Fury is pretty much like the Slayer above, lots of high speed grenade independent AOE DPS but you need pretty super duper game awareness if you wanna make it worth using over the Talon GI or ultra survivability DPS guys.

 

Batarian Soldier

 

Drell Vanguard and Adept, Vanguard moreso because Charge is amazing, gets you to the spawns with the press of a button and then boom. Everyone is dead. Only downside is that he depends on grenades.

Top easy mode DPS builds:

1) Trooper Acololyte

2) Reegar AIU

3) Harrier TGI

4) Reegar Battlemaster or Broguard

5) Reegar Valkyrie

6) Reegar Bat Soldier

 

High Skill Ceiling Builds with the highest DPS:

1)Merc- "skill" is kind of relative here but staying alive with the kit is difficult on a lot of maps. Highest DPS in the game. Solo time may be slower over a total game because of nade restrictions and survival issues.

2)GI- Just damn near the perfect kit. Powers compliment each other, armored compartments make it even more stupidly OP. If you wanted to break the game more.

3)DAI- Almost the sustained damage of the GI but with a wide AOE spawn annihilating power in Recon Mine, and he is fast.

4)Trooper- Still one of the fastest and toughest killers, simplistic one button spam that kills everything. Oh yeah and you can throw on AC V. 

5)QME- Press buttons, watch things die. Occasionally maybe highlight the thing that's going to get a tech boot up it's ass.

Weapons, if you can handle charge weapons, use the Arc Pistol. If not, Mattock is a good choice at this stage. CSMG is a good option too.

 

Scorpion or Falcon if you're wanting a stagger-stick instead but you're putting a lot of your damage on powers and those aren't always available. (Either because you just got hit by bees, or you're facing an enemy that can become immune to power damage)

Warp

Biotic Explosion

Warp

Singularity detonates Warp into another Biotic Explosion.

Singularity - Trying to get multiple people in it.

Shockwave

Lots of Biotic Explosions!

Warp a leftover if needed, the detonation of Singularity might catch em into another...Biotic Explosion.

Shoot between powers and when available, but you never want to fire your weapon and take damage that shieldgate's you into having to stay behind cover and mess up the timing on your Biotic Explosion. If you can get away with the shot take it, but you want those rotations going off whenever possible.

 

Singularity by itself can often eliminate weaker enemies as well as just being a big AoE damage for a while. Don't be afraid to caste it somewhere you think enemies might be likely to come if you have the chance.

They are beasts. That is the build I use on gold. 2 BEs plus a couple shots and a brute is history.

Actually, pretty much nothing you mentioned makes the top of "dps kits" in the way you're probably intending it, exception made for the GI Talon and maaaybeee the Javelin.

Never saw the point of it. Only lifts things on health which the singularity does anyways. Whereas the smidgen of recharge speed bumps up the number of BE's per minute I can put out.

 

It's also one reason I take damage on singularity, to finish off health mooks with a single caste-and-forget.

So... I guess peeps can discuss what they like... but when I mean high DPS... I mean like EXTREME DPS!!!

 

For example, if you slap a reegar on anything, it instantly becomes high output... but I don't think it's necessarily EXTREME dps.

 

If anyone has ever played with the talon GI... I would consider that EXTREME dps!  A reegar on a Krolord... I wouldn't say that even comes close to a talon GI.  When you play with a talon GI, it just 'FEELS' way different than just about anything else in the game.  I would say the same about the claymore SI.  Just 'feels' waaay different than anything else.

 

So I'm just wondering about what may be considered virtually 'god-mode,' and not just things that are high output.

Yeah seems like I just made it.

 

You can only have one Singularity active at any time. Lifting on SW allows for more CC, because you never know when you do might need it.

Shockwave on a target with health will CC it well enough without the lift component, that aside I'd rather recast Singularity or warp and set up another BE. It's a reason, but I'd still find it more worthwhile to get a BE.
