Whyt do I die (unmotivated) in Lucius private chambers? Red Lyrium / Champion of the just Quest.

So I'm through the Nightmare with the envy demon and have replenished my potions in the main hall just after the nightmare (I think it's the main hall ?) and have gone on the hunt for the red Lyrium...and after the chat with cole I die after a few seconds. Sometimes I get to pick up some loot or open the chest but I die no matter what combo I try....this is fecking annoying and may have influence on main quest, so I hope you can guys can help... I have scowered the web to no avail boo :-/ cheers guys

Which fight are you on? i am so lost here.

As far as that one fight where you have to have the templars break the gate I would honestly hang back and defend yourself. When the meter is empty the enemies vanish and you can fight Envy. Don't worry about killing everyone. Just survive the fight.

If your talking about Envy I would control a character with a knockdown attack because knockdown attacks are crucial. When Envy does that darn bend back Def AOE attack+ stun use your knockdown attack immediatly to stop him from completeing it because it forces him to cancel the attack so he has to do it again. Also what i did was keep using shield wall with a sw/sh warrior which causes Envy to attack that character while my other allies get free shots in.Also stacking up on regen potions help.

I think they mean they die in the room where you find Cole and the plot to kill the Empress.

My guess is you don't kill all the Red Templars and during the cutscene with Cole, you are still getting hit. Cass died that way during her Seeker quest once.

Bazaar. The only weird ways I die or get stuck or glitch is during actual gameplay. Most recent was Sera kept drowning in storm Coast during one of the fade portal fights (the small island near the start). I had to reset my system because there was no way out of it.

The only thing I had happen similar to yours Mlady is Gatt dieing during iron Bull's mission to save the charges/qunari juggernaught. Gatt wasn't visible during the cinematics. It was a funny scene because my Inquisitor and Iron Bull were talking to nothing. However after the scene was over Gatt showed up like normal and the game ran fine.

Lol that IS strange! And yeah I remember in Redcliffe Cass kept drowning on the docks. And it seems if you don't kill all the enemies, they will keep fighting during the cuts. It's a weird bug.

I keep randomly dying in the Arbor Wilds. There's this one mossy slope that kills you when you walk on it. It's really annoying because loot always drops there.

Could there be a spot like that in there?

Is this based on the difficulty? I always play on Casual to have fun and explore. Once I've done it all, then I will up the difficulty.

No, that's based on geometry. The areas have out-of-bounds zones where you die if you enter them, like when Cass or Blackwall does Charging Bull in Valeska's Watch. Inevitable.

I'm surprised it's never happened to me. I go all over the place! So far only Cass drowning in Redcliffe has happened a few times, and I remember one time Cole was screaming in pain and floating down from above, but I have no idea wtf happened.
