While I recognize how excellent Hale's voice over was for the Shepard, it would still be weird for me to play as a female.

I had a silly innocent joke about men breaking the Crim barrier, but when it played out the unintended subtext went south faster then snowbirds in winter.

I always play as female if I can choose my gender, but I might play as a guy if I decide to replay the game. But in the first playthrough I will definitely play as a female.

I'll probably play a female engineer first. I love engineers the most. 
Male will be sometime after that, possibly my second PT, if he has a good voice, LI choice and customisation options.

I'll play as a male first, as I do with most RPG's. After that, they'll likely all be female (unless I see no reason to play as a female - only real reason would be if I don't find any of the female protagonists love interests to be worth my time.)

Depends on what I'm playing on the other ME games at the time as I'oll probably make the protagonist different from whatever my Shepard is but i'm le4aning towards female adept at the moment fror my first protagonist. Making a kick ass girl toss enemies around with her biotics will be cool.
