So, I just played this game at a friend's apt earlier...Wow.
I am still not on board with the Xbone fanboys, but this is a definite step in the right direction. Despite it being a "work-in-progress", which is evidently the standard now in gaming (devs releasing unfinished products) it is a beautiful game. Fun, intense, & I like the comic book-esque art style.
Perhaps I am giving it too much credit because I am more or less a survival game virgin, but I likey

Some former BioWare devs were a part of forming Hinterlands. I'll keep an eye on this on steam to see if it goes on sale. It seems a little bit like Don't Starve, but not so cutesy. I assume it's also essentially unwinnable? Or is there story progression?

@Leighzard: there is story progression, and a plot. However it's apparently pretty sparse at the beginning.
