Mass effect 1 and 2 are on sale today on steam at 75% off.    5 dollars each or 7  bucks for both of them. I figure there might be a handful of players that still haven't picked up these games so now you have no excuse not to. Get them while the sale is still on!

Yes, these games really turned me into a BioWare and Mass Effect fan. I actually remember having a hard time getting into the first ME1 game. Enjoyed the heck out the intro and story, but when I arrived at the first planet and the game switched to 3rd person shooter. I was like "I can't do this." Short break later I finally make it past that section and hit the Citadel. Awesome and finally. But the gameplay around the strip club almost put me off again. Wasn't until reaching my first main mission, Novaria, and hearing that music along with the very enjoyable environment (I love Ice/Snow theme and dat music) that I finally was 100% hooked on ME1 and played it non-stop from there on.

Before that what got me to finally buy the Trilogy was the ME2 Demo on X-Box 360. I was like "Wow. I must buy this Trilogy like right now." Played these games several times, and with each consecutive playthrough the difficulty went up one until Insanity playthrough for each game was achieved. Only thing left if the full exploring of the Citadel DLC. Great DLC that made me feel more like ME1 & 2.

But yes. Great times.
