I am one of those who loved the Lancer due to it being a trusty rifle that never ran out of ammo. Though I've only used it in ME3's campaign, it quickly became my weapon of choice due to the infinite ammo and feel.
I am the only one here who wants the M7-Lancer to be brought back?
I would, but then people would complain about the lack of technological advancement in the future of the MEverse. We already have people who are angry the guy in the trailer is seemingly holding a gun from the original trilogy rather than something unique, but we haven't seen him fire it so who knows. It could be a pistol version of the singularity projector for all we know.
I would love an equivalent though.
The nice thing about the Lancer was that it was an "antique" in ME3, since it's pilfered from the archive in the single player campaign.

I could list 20 weapons I wouldn't mind using again... but ... I am kind of looking forward to seeing something new.
Let's not forget that Andromeda has other standards than the Milky Way, we won't find any ammo there. We'll either have to switch to new weapons or adapt ours to accept the local equivalent of thermal packs.
I know that there's got to be something in the array of new weapons that will have the have the heart of the Harrier. Here's to hoping.
Lancer was literally the perfect gun for my Adept Shepard. Definitely hoping to see it again. (Or some other auto-firing, light weight, infinite ammo AR instead.)

Actually, the gun in the trailer fires Thresher Maws, it is a variant of the Squid Launcher.

Lancer was my favourite weapon in ME3, loved how they even brought back the classic sound it made in ME1
I honestly don't get the love people have for this weapon. It was promised to be ME1 style and it wasn't.
The PPR is better in every way.

I'd hope they dropped the stupid "ammo" again (damned the Codex explained why you don't have to reload in ME1 damned!)...I'd rather go back to ME1-style guns (maybe with the addition of having an emergency heatsink you can cycle in if the main one is overheated or something)
On the other hand: I'd love to see some "real" laser or plasma weapons! (if there's enough time and no more reaper/prothean tech to pilfer people would have to develop their own stuff, wouldn't they?

(I hope they give us more than the 7 squadmates they are talking about ATM (in that leaked survey) because with so few, I am sure that most will be human - again (sorry, but I'd love to be the only (or one of only a few humans) human on the team...or even not to be human myself!))
