I am slowly leaning towards the school of thought that Bioware was so focused on making an awesome, memorable game, they totally spaced going over with EA exactly how the release should go as planned. Kinda like the of the ADD-inflicted Canadians up there. Next thing both companies know, it's a month to ship and they don't have **** planned for bringing it to the masses.

Anyone else?
