Ah, I was never sure what you felt about DAI.

I was thinking of Gamlen earlier for some reason and how even that made me miss the whole style of DA2. They really turned a 180.

I miss DA2 so much.

Yeah there were repetitive maps but it was story centric. Not like DAI where the actual main quests are a small portion of the game. It's kind of ridiculous that you're the inquisitor yet you're doing grunt work right the way through.

There are also pretty much no NPCs that really caught my attention in DAI unlike in DA2.

Ugh, I'm completely burnt out on DAI. I think this is the last time I follow a game up to release. All that hype. Wasn't worth the let down.

And nope, I've been watching Naruto.

You could've showed boom something that is actually good, (like Zeta or 08th MS team), instead of that filthy Naruto shonen garbage. Even AGE is better than Naruto..

There's a more literal mecha anime out that I'm enjoying.. Knights of Sidonia? It airs in JP, but Netflix has the rights to it here, so I just watch it on there.

Naruto is exceedingly good for a manga, actually.

You can tell the author actually put a ton of thought into it, building characters whose lives tie directly into the main themes of the manga itself and the social realities of the Ninja World with patterns clearly woven through the narrative which inevitably lead to the final confrontation, not between the hero and the villains, but between different methods of thinkings and even different generations.

Granted it has a ton of problems but, as far as manga go, it might be one of the best on an intellectual level. That I have read, at least.

 

A pity that the author never finished it, tough.
