I liked Afro-Samurai, I think that was the last anime I liked.

 

I liked Avatar the Last Airbender, its not a real anime but that was a good cartoon. Azula is one of the best char ever.

Then Legend of Korra came .... WishI could forget that Sh*t.

Naruto is exceedingly good for a manga, actually.

You can tell the author actually put a ton of thought into it, building characters whose lives tie directly into the main themes of the manga itself and the social realities of the Ninja World with patterns clearly woven through the narrative which inevitably lead to the final confrontation, not between the hero and the villains, but between different methods of thinkings and even different generations.

Granted it has a ton of problems but, as far as manga go, it might be one of the best on an intellectual level. That I have read, at least.

 

A pity that the author never finished it, tough.

You should watch the first one, I'm sure you will like Azula. She helped the Evil Chancelor to conquer a entire kingdom, and then betrayed him and took the Kingdom for herself.

 

Korra is BS, the protagonists are BS, the villains are BS (but all of them had so much potential) ans it will be only remembered by some BS lesbian couple.

Afro Samurai is legit. I'm generally not big into anime, but I've been spending a lot of time recently watching Afro Samurai, Samurai Champloo, Fullmetal Alchemist (and FMA Brotherhood), and part 1 of Naruto. They're all pretty good (even if the dialogue in Naruto is so f****g cheesy and corny). I really don't like how quickly Sasuke becomes a b***h boy in Naruto though. He goes from being a smug and self-righteous c**t to Naruto's friend, to a self righteous c**t again in the span of about 6 episodes (but then I also hate Sasuke). I've read about half of the manga for Shippuden but haven't seen the anime for it.

Well, it's more like in the span of 120 episodes.

No, it really is about 6 episodes. From the time he becomes friends with Naruto to the time he leaves Konoha, he only has 6 or 7 episodes worth of screen time. He's gone for about half the episodes for the Chunin exams, and he only becomes Naruto's "friend" when he comes back to fight Gaara. Then right after that he's in the hospital turning into a jealous b***h boy because Naruto has been training with Jiraiya while Sasuke has been useless for the last half an arc, since he got curb stomped by Gaara.

 

So he's there for a good half an arc, but he's only Naruto's friend for 6 or 7 episodes. Before and after that he's just a smug self-righteous c**t. Or maybe it just feels like 6 or 7 episodes because the pacing in Naruto is unbelievably slow and full of forgettable filler. The big season 3 battle between Sasuke and Naruto lasted 3 whole episodes and they exchanged about 5 hits with each other
