Becoming someone's wife doesn't automatically mean that she will become the little lady that sits there all day waiting for her man to come home.

If anything, I think Cass is secure enough to say that marriage would not be changing anything and they'd still live their lives as they currently do.

That's how you view said marriage, do you really think that Cassandra, who has expressed a leaning towards traditional values would view it that way?

If she isn't too busy planning her own wedding that is.  :P  I'm still rooting for Blackwall to sweep Josephine off of her feet. Cassandra didn't have to rip him a new one, though.

Well, that would make a good training. First plan the wedding of the Age, then plan yours with some minor Antivan lord. Thank the Maker for the second, until your remember the Inquisitor and his lady wife will actually attend. Then curse the Maker because it means you'll have to rewrite that table seating plan one more time.

I do lean towards traditional values....so yes. Kids, on the other hand, is a different matter.

So......how do you feel about dwarfism in real life?

People that are born with conditions like achondroplasia, diastrophic dysplasia and spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia. All diseases that effect bone growth and are the main causes of dwarfism?

Not the same thing.

But I pity their medical conditions (seems to be multiple causes).

Fixed that for you, and I don't have a problem with this statement.

I don't think, she really is.

Cassandra lets the mages run the Circle themselves, no? Honestly, I think Cassandra is the weakest of all three candidates. It seems like she's not very decisive with either faction, which is something I would not expect from her.

"Let the mages watch themselves...with our help." What means is anyone's guess.

Depending on the status of mages and Templars, the mages can form the College but she still restores the Circle and they end up clashing or they just join the Circle under Cassandra.

The Templars can rejoin the Circle but without a leash or join the newly formed Seekers or just join the Templar Order under Cassandra (which happens if Cullen is convinced to continue taking Lyrium)

Her ending appears to be a middle ground between Leliana and Vivienne and possibly the closest there is to a return to the status quo for there is always a Circle and a Templar Order. But we just don't know how it all works in practice.

I really with the Inquisitor could have sat down with the Divine and the leader of whoever we sided with and try to figure out how it would all work.

Bet the scout Harding flirts and fan support for a romance gave you a heart attack

None of it gives me a heart attack. Unlike most people here, I'm in shape. My heart is fine. I just think some Bioware fans are bizarre.

She's cuter. I wouldn't have sex with something like that, but it's an improvement. Females don't have any of the "bulbous" features typical of fantasy dwarves.

Boost, please. Are you aware what universe we are talking about? I'd use the words "insane" and "retarded" VERY loosely.

Street you clearly don't feel that way about elves though right? Elves make everything alright.  :)

And for the record, I've always mated elves with elves if given chance.

Oh, goodness. That sounds so depressing. How would she even have the energy and enthusiastic to even plans her owns after such a grand one. Unless they're on their honeymoon, then she wouldn't have to worry about them attending.

Killing Dragons and eating cookies sounds like the perfect honeymoon.  :P

No. They're just human like and/or often even made to be more attractive. Same with half of the Trek races, which barely have any cosmetic differences. I'm only against anything that was designed with deformity or monstrosity in mind. And furries.

How are you going to dilute their bloodline if you keep mating elves with elves? :P

That does not make sense, traditional values would equate to a more restricting role of wife. That is what I perceive to be the problem in Cassandra getting married (where her insecurities would come from); she views things in a conservative way, why would she view the role of wife and marriage any differently?

I don't even know what traditional marriage values are in this setting. Their entire spectrum of sexuality is completely different. Until they explore it, there isn't much to say.

What better way to show the House Montilyet's turn of fortune than having the Herald of Andraste and Cassandra Pentaghast attend the wedding of their heir? But it is actually depressing, I give you that, especially because I'm sure Josie would hope Blackwall to burst in and elope with her on a white horse until the last moment. Poor sweet Josie. :(

Well Elf/human hybrid doesn't really exist anyhow. Its always human with "elven blood" which I don't know it means. Its as human as any.

It comes from the religon Cassandra pertains to and puts so much faith in, the Chantry. Sexuality is a seprate issue, and the Chantry has a view on that as well--Genitivi wrote a book about it.

Why would you call it restricting? It's a personal choice and I find nothing restricting about it. I was just saying, she doesn't have to give up what she's passionate about to fulfil the role in a more traditional sense.

She could quite easily cook his meals and darn his socks at a campfire as she would in a house.

It's not like the inquisitor has a manor that needs running. There would be no need for her to stay at Skyhold.

What does the Chantry say then? I never ran across anything about it.

They have a strong bias in favor of women. That's all I know.

I see.

Well you are right about how elves look. If I get pointy ears, I look like elf females in DA. Like the only difference are the ears.

Plus we even have the last name "Elfman". I wonder where did that came from lmao.

The Chantry has never espoused values where the wife is less active than the husband. The Maker's Bride, Andraste, was expected to conquer the world in His name.

Mostly, there is a difference in cultural values between nations. For instance, Antiva and Ferelden are both Andrastian but in Antiva, a woman fighting would be unthinkable while in Ferelden, no one would find it strange.

Of course she does. You and I both know that women aren't people who are capable of doing more than 1 thing at a time. Women can only think in binary terms, because they have very simple brains. Ergo, if she's married, she can never ever be a warrior. If she's a warrior, she can never ever be married.

Even though this is very obviously a joke which should be apparent to anyone with a working brain, I'm prepared for the incoming feminist hate mob in 3, 2, 1....

lol.. So is the mod monitoring this thread or did someone actually report me for "profanity"?

You know how pointless that is, right?
