lol.. So is the mod monitoring this thread or did someone actually report me for "profanity"?
You know how pointless that is, right?
Guess the mods love dwarves

Guess the mods love dwarves
It has nothing to do with dwarves. It was profanity specifically.
And I guess it was you. I'm not surprised. You obviously have no life.

Accusing me? Guess you forgot your rant int the dwarf thread and think nobody else dislikes your views
And considering you're the person who went on a rant calling people who play qunari as losers who masurbate to beastiality simply because I said the word horny, I'd say you are in no position to insult anyone
It doesn't matter if people don't like my views. Disagreement is common. I got reported for profanity specifically. And yes, I'm accusing you. You have the sentiments of a 4 year old tattle-tale. It is known. "O dark one".
As for the second statement, I don't follow. That puts me in the perfect position to insult people. But I never reported you. Why would I?
Of course she does. You and I both know that women aren't people who are capable of doing more than 1 thing at a time. Women can only think in binary terms, because they have very simple brains. Ergo, if she's married, she can never ever be a warrior. If she's a warrior, she can never ever be married.
Even though this is very obviously a joke which should be apparent to anyone with a working brain, I'm prepared for the incoming feminist hate mob in 3, 2, 1....
Why would you call it restricting? It's a personal choice and I find nothing restricting about it. I was just saying, she doesn't have to give up what she's passionate about to fulfil the role in a more traditional sense.
She could quite easily cook his meals and darn his socks at a campfire as she would in a house.
It's not like the inquisitor has a manor that needs running. There would be no need for her to stay at Skyhold.
You are missing the point; I don't agree that Cassandra would adhere to your conception of marriage. I think she would have a more conservative idea of what a wife is supposed to be, and that is where her insecurities would come from. I think this because she treats other things with a traditional outlook, politics, the chantry etc. If she views the Chantry in a conservative way, then most likely she has its traditional view of marriage and marriage roles. I think that it would suit her character to feel like her obligations as a warrior (if she herself has that conservative notion of wife) would make her a lousy wife. I'm saying that she would have psychological issues with it. To be clear, I'm not defending such marriage 'morally' superior or anything like that, I'm examining Cassandra as a character; moreover, I'm not saying that her conceptions cannot be changed. I hope that clarifies it.
What does the Chantry say then? I never ran across anything about it.
They have a strong bias in favor of women. That's all I know.
You can read about it on the wiki.

I think you're bringing in a lot of your own baggage with traditionalism here. You're free to do that though.. since there isn't much said, either way in the game.

I think we all do regarding most topics.
True enough. That's why I'll leave it open for him.

This subject of traditional and religious obligation always got you talking in the past. Most of which I agree with myself. And I noticed the other day that your Inquisitor's backstory is founded on this. You have a lot of "material" to work with, for some reason. That's all I'm saying.
Not judging it. ![]()
Still not sure where we can find the notion that traditional marriage roles in Andrastianism means a restrictive life for the wife and I have both volumes of "The World of Thedas."
Really, the only problem I could see would perhaps be in regard with children due to yes, that fundamentally changing their routine and her biological clock.

The logic is simple, the chantry (which prevails throughout Southern Thedian culture) has an outlook that can be considered conservative in nature, Cassandra faithfully adheres to the chantry therefore she has its conservative values. Going by experience, I would assume that Cassandra understands these roles and values, she once said that if her life in Nevarra had have been different her Uncle might have had her married off to some noble, and she might have had three children, and would have ended up sitting around at home all day. I would call that traditional/conservative.

Try, in the game itself.
Plus we even have the last name "Elfman". I wonder where did that came from lmao.
Last name origins & meanings:

Where?
Is this only about how marriages are supposed to produce offspring?
First, that is a cultural phenomenon unrelated to Andrastian beliefs and then, not only is that expected even from Empress Celene, Moira Theirin had Maric but was still the one who lead the rebellion in Ferelden.
Thats common in fiction.Well, it would just be irresponsible to have both parents putting themselves in life threatening situations in there are kids in the picture.

Just see Batman, Thalia and Damian.
Catwoman is so much better for Bats though.
It would be for me, if I was Batman at least. ![]()
