Jesus... I really hate the graphics in this game. The faces/CC I mean. I might've just wasted 3 hours in the Black Emporium, trying to tweak my initial mistakes. It's hard for me to work with this. It's like playing whack-a-mole. Adjust the check depth here, then screw the mouth and eye area there. Adjust mouth height, then have to adjust mouth depth and chin height.. and maybe even jawline. And even then, the basic look is always dictated by the shitastic face shapes. For males, that is.

 

I hope MEA has a default character like Sheploo, because I don't give a flying **** about wasting my time with this. I'd rather just get on with playing. /rant

 

You could try looking for sliders on youtube. I admit creating a good looking male human without beard is hard.

 

I liked this one and playing with it atm. (ignore the thumbnail image, it looks better in the game)

 

 

 

I tried making one like it, but I made my own changes as well. I am happy enough with it. I love his eyes, they are magical and fitting, given he is a mage.

It's a little easier for me to pull off something like that with a similarly smooth complexion, I think. I'm trying to work with the a slightly more rugged/aged complexion, but it accentuates the bones a little too much. So oddities with the checkbones and such look worse. But the texture itself looks good.

 

I just don't like bothering with it.. it's like playing with a 3d program.. but without all the tools and angles that make those programs easier to work with. I guess the Black Emporium makes things easier though.

This is funny. i opened my PC version (usually play XOne for the better framerate), just to test the CC there. And then he wakes up in the Temple of Sacred Ashes, with no one to help him. Game over, man!

 

 

I feel like the universe is just telling me to give up.

This is basically the complexion I was going for. Just on my XOne it looks crappier.. especially in certain lighting.

Why's that? You tempted to play again?

 

If I could, I'd give you my PC version, but it's probably tied to Origin. 

 

I'm still kind of iffy about Dragon Age, but thought it'd be fun to get one more character through.. just for posterity..maybe the next game will still be worth importing in.

I'm surprised it hasn't gotten that cheap yet. ME3 and the whole trilogy could be had for $30, within months.

 

 

 

My whole new foray with DAI is looking short lived. Now that I'm out of the game for so long, I'm reassessing Divine Leliana too.. All of my initial enthusiasm is falling apart. Maybe that'll make some people happy. :D

Softened, actually. But maybe if I try again, I'll just go for Viv or Cass. It seems like Leliana doesn't have much of a story, without her being divine or previously romanced... so it still kind of interests me.

 

Yeah, I picked up ME3 (again) on Playstation network for $5. The whole trilogy was $5. That's pretty cool. It still comes with most of the ME2 DLC too.
