I liked Cassandra because she reminded me of Miranda
I can see some similarities, but Cassandra's character is better fleshed-out (and thus, more interesting) than Miranda ever was IMO.

In addition to that, I wouldn't associate anything Cerberus with Cassandra. They're ****** idiots. "Human supemacists" whose main accomplishment is mostly screwing over humans themselves. Good job. Every husked filled colony in ME1, every soldier attacked by a Thresher Maw, every biotic child gone missing, every mook in ME3, every desperate person fleeing to Sanctuary.
The one good thing about Miranda is she finally realizes it.

I'm sure someone could draw some decently-convincing parallels between Cerberus and the Chantry (and by extension, the Seekers).
I, however, have no will to engage in that mental-exercise at the moment
... maybe another time.

I don't see much parallel at all. Kind of annoys me thinking about it. It's inspired by Christianity, Joan of Arc, and I'm guessing.... Boudica. Cerberus is some stupid comic book sh*t from Mac Walters head.
The only thing I see that most of their games share is an underlying heroic formula (except Hawke was a departure.... a welcomed departure). For example, the Prothean Beacon and the Anchor are similar formulas. Same with the Dalish Warden and the Eluvian. The whole "hero's path" thing...touched by something otherworldly.... fate changed for better or worse.

That's mostly due to sheer timeframe and character disposition

They still could have written something better for Miranda than daddy issues.
You don't need time for that.

The seers are mostly dead anyway circa the annulment
No, they've got Seers all over the place. Even up north where the Qun's influence is strongest you still have people using the title.

True, you need better writers.
I'd have factored in Cerberus dogma and belief personally.
Allow humans to live over aliens or something

And that's what puzzles me... how they get away with it. Doesn't seem like there's much war or anything.
I mean, unless there's a lot more Qunari like Bull. Instead of Arvaarad.

If you say so.
The annulment to me seemed pretty decisive

If it was up to me, I would have a completely alternative ME2.. where it was the Geth who saved you. And Legion who gives you a ship and tells you about the Collectors. And the Alliance still pushes you away, for the same reasons they did with Cerberus. Only here, it's AI focused.
Miranda and TIM would still be in it, but they'd be like they were in the trailer --- as observers. Seeing you recruit on your own. Miranda would weasel her way into your group... maybe like Maya Brooks, but more Femme Fatale. You'd eventually find out, and maybe this is where you invite Cerberus or not. But I'd probably write a storyline where you get her on your side and away from TIM.

I'd have had him only become introdocinated if you had been decidedly anti Cerberus in ME2

The mages at the Circle were being trained in the ways of the Seers, but Seers don't even stay at the Circle. That's like, half the grievance people have with them.

Thus humanity.

Those hedge witches are a issue true but not a active threat, I'd have had it adressed but I didn't write DAI

Of course not. They were, after all, expected to aid the Templars when called upon, in return for living outside the Circle and continuing their practices.

Mhm that was the informal agreement via the Rivain templars and abominations

I'm worried that with Weekes in charge, things like the Seers will just be promoted more. Spirit and Mortal coexistence.
I don't know... I don't even have any real ground for believing that, but I get the feeling he doesn't care to write mundane subjects. Things will just get stranger. And it'll end up as a very extreme fantasy setting, instead of the Game of Thrones knock off it sort of was at times, in DAO.

I'm a bad human being for saying this, but I think I'll pre-order Call of Duty Black Ops 3. I have always trusted Treyarch with the CoD label (they are the only ones I even buy anymore) and their Zombies mode is like crack for me. The trailers are just so enticing. The PC specs are also surprisingly low. Lower than the requirements for Advanced Warfare, even.
