No, I've written some smut before. Nothing I can share because they were all, in the moment and they were, I would say, personal. Also, none of it was saved.

You need to know how Chakra works, What Akatsuki is, Who said members are, Locations, mentioned events, characters, etc.
But to sum it up basically in less then nine paragraphs?
It's a National Peace Movement from a small industrial country called Ame (Rain cute right? It rains a lot there) turned mercenary/ terrorist interest made up of the strongest shinobi in the continent collecting all these rogues and criminals together under a single banner to collect these special creatures called tailed beasts alright? Those are basically these demon dealies made up of "chakra", Chakra is the energy inherent in all life forms, it is used by ninja in their usage of all their neat abilities and skills.
Anyway these guys want all nine of them so they can basically weaponize their chakra, create WMD's and hand them out to warring powers and basically control the market on war, subverting the entire economic process of the great village system as it runs on the monies and what have you from their shinobi preforming missions and warring and what have you, which would leave them as the viable military force in existence after their practices bankrupted them.
