That was a really good freaking DLC. :D

Spoiler

I don't think that is a good thing; though I have a very good knowledge of the literature, both artistic, and scientific, about unrequited love and rejection. Being around each other should only make it worst (unless Bioware goes all, "magic utopian unrequited love; derp de dur"), the Inquisitor needs to move on from Cassandra, and get someone new in his life who actually cares about him and won't give him up for a silly religious institution etc. Otherwise he will only continue to suffer from the knowledge that he is considered lesser than a decrepit religious institution.

Well...not much apparently

The paradox of Cassandra is that she seems to think very little of herself and her close relations, opting instead to sacrifice her happiness and the happiness of her close relations for the populace, when the sheeple are ironically the most far removed from her life. Keeping in mind the above, and Chantry 'rules', Cassandra somehow maintaining the relationship if she becomes Divine is wishful thinking. Apparently she does not even do well with it if she rebuilds the Seekers (long distance relationships hardly ever work, due to the lack of intimacy). Also her romance was written to be 'bitter sweet', it's more like sweet then bitter. lol

Wonder how my playthrough where Leliana is Divine and the Seekers weren't rebuilt will play out.

Cassandra does care about him, but she also have a religion that has been apart of her life. She doesn't give him up for  a "silly" religious institution, but the role she has in the religion as the people Divine. If she gave up the inquisitor for her religion, then they wouldn't be together in the first place.I don't think the inquisitor (my inquisitor) is going to suffer from that at all.

Bottom line: The man loves the woman and he can't just easily move on to the next one. He'll stay by her side, especially if she needs someone to listen to her.

Yea, I'm usually not into those things too, but Cassandra is special and has earned the spot for me as one of the best female character in the games I've played. It would had been nice to wrap it up like that.

Guuuuuys omg I heartbroken....

Disbanded the Inquisition, and Cassandra spends half her time rebuilding her organization, Quizzy seems to be around her most of the time.

I just can't let it go )': I got closure but damn...feels, FEELS!

Is there any other ending to their relationship to a not Divine Cassandra???

I'm on the credits right now, she's so sweet and cute :'( what a journey.... I need a hug.

Apparently if she isn't Divine but rebuilt the Seekers, the romance becomes a long-distance relationship. Don't know what happens if the Seekers aren't rebuilt but I'm going to find out.

If there's a better ending for them both, which I thought mine wasn't all that bad, after all, they're both consensual adults, I'll do it next time. I'm just feeling kinda bad, the Inquisition was like a family, and I wanted such to be remembered as one inspiring one, and not a corrupt and broken thing, also...poor Quizzy :(

That's not healthy, loving someone who will never love you back as strongly because they are indisposed due to a job (kills a lot of relationships). And yes, the religious institution is silly, hats and all. Also, I did not say that she had to give up her religion.

I agree, that isn't healthy. But, the inquisitor would probably never love someone like he loves Cassandra. Getting into a new relationship with someone while having your mind constantly on someone else kills relationships, too.

Should have been an option to go all Big Boss.

Ha! The thing with Quizzy losing his arm is totes cool for me, but I was somewhat "Wtf....?" when I saw his arm missing, that was right in teh feels.

I plan on keeping the Inquisition with Divine Leliana since she's the only one I can fully trust with it. That way, we can deal with anyone trying to kill her and help her with her goals.

Yeah, that's what I thought too, but after the s@#$ Quizzy went through, all the pressure, I think he deserves a break. Still, I'm glad I kept a save right before the encounter with that damn elf. So pissed, ugh.

Before and during the DLC, I was telling myself that the inquisition shouldn't be disbanded.

I can relate to that, my thoughts precisely. I guess the Inquisition did what it had to do, and more, and I'm sure the next PC will defeat the new baddie without them.

Now, it's time for some lovely and therapeutic ff D:

I think the only difference from my playthrough is that Implayed with a human Inquisitor, the rest was the same.

So, obviously, the big thing right now is the M and the D and how they work together. I intend to comment on it once I have finished the DLC. For now, just wanted to point out something that may have been missed. In Sera's notes, there is this line

"They better tie one day. Cassandra needs it on the regular."

Now, I must say that my Inquisitor would be more than happy to stand at attentiona and fulfill his obligations.
