Completed Trespasser. I absolutely loved the romanced Divine Cass ending.

 

Its precisely what I hoped would happen.

I feel the same way. It was perfect for what I was going for. I like to think that my Inquisitor became Right Hand of Divine Victoria (opening new possibilities for Hand jokes.) and stayed as dedicated and in love with his Divine as certain GoT character to his Queen Bitter-Sweet!

But he didn't and in the end all worked out.    And red-lyrium!Cass died knowing he loved her as much as she loved him and died at peace, which was the best she could hope for, I think.

Yeah I wanted there to be a touching moment when Cassandra is shocked to see the Inquisitor without his arm and she would rush to his side and all would be well.

 

By the way I like your profile picture. Im currently playing the phantom pain and Im having much fun playing as Big Boss although Im a bit worried about how much of a monster he will become during his quest for revenge as the story progresses. Havent progressed that far yet.

All I will say, is that Kojima is a grandmaster troll. Yes, that is all.

I was under the impression Divine Cassandra and the Inquisitor continued their relationship in secret, is that not true? Man I might need to do a second play-through.

I'm not sure how any of the endings are bad for the templars. If anything, having circles continue to exist would make Templars happy. Their purpose is to guard mages, both from corruption and crazy bigots. Having the circles continue would be fine with them.

No it's not true, Cassandra is not the type. And If you don't break up with her the Inquisitor becomes a lost puppy always trialing behind her, hoping for any sort of attention, and getting nothing but the odd smile. Some people think that is just dandy, I think the Inquisitor needs to move on.

I'm not sure how any of the endings are bad for the templars. If anything, having circles continue to exist would make Templars happy. Their purpose is to guard mages, both from corruption and crazy bigots. Having the circles continue would be fine with them.

That was my impression too, though it would've been nice if they got mentioned

Honestly, I did enjoy the Inquisitor/Cassandra romanced parts, but after mulling it over some: would it have been so bad to give our Inquisitors the option to throw a fantastic over the top romantic proposal to Cassandra?  Just imagine if he recruited the others to help him.

Those are the advantages of living in such a mess of a world. Nothing like a new threat of destruction to spend some quality time with your loved ones. And who better to save the day than the chantry
