I can't relate Cassandra to any American state. She's too foreign, exotic in a way, and noble. Pretty much everything America is not.

I say Colorado. No particular reason though, just sounds nice, Colorado Cass.
I don't picture her in California at all. Probably because I can neither imagine a shallow nor a hipster Cass.
Anyway, since Ventus proclaimed SC were "wrong" I assume there is a correct answer we'll learn soon enough?

South Carolina is the home of Bob Jones University, Lindsey Graham, and Strom Thurmond (A Senator who actually said black people should be handled with cattle prods). How anyone associates Cassandra with it, I don't know.

"Bob Jones" university.
lol. That's enough to be ashamed about. Out of all the things to name a university. I'm surprised the kids who go there don't shoot themselves out of embarrassment.
edit:
Oh wait. Maybe they do. Found this review.
Bob Jones is not a school or church, but a cult posing as a church-based school. My sister and I sustained extended and severe emotional, psychological, and physical trauma (corporal punishment) at the hands of Bob Jones. The brain washing is excessive and like nothing I have seen in the 3 decades since I finally escaped. My sister escaped a different way: she committed suicide. Parents, if you are thinking of sending your children here, think again.

I don't think we should be going this route in the conversation
Bash South Carolina?
Oh the humanity.
Bread and Killabee are from there though, I think. I'm curious what good things they have to say about it. ![]()

Besides the food and the fact that we break California's spirit for not being Ho Yay for gays?
Not a damn thing. **** this state, tbh.
Oh, there is the very lax gun laws though. And all the fireworks.

I already gave the answer. I said any of the 49 actual states in the Union. South Carolina has no redeeming factors.

Which is why so many people come here from other states for the fair weather, beaches, sea food and southern cuisine, friendly locals, sweetgrass baskets, etc etc. The racism thing exists yes, just like in the rest of America.
Obama and the liberals however would have you believe it's just here, and I know first hand that's bs.

As do I. I still say **** the place, but I'm from here. I get to **** talk it. In reality, it's no worse than most other states. The place is beautiful.
At least we're not new jersey, lol.

I've never heard of a single person ever going to South Carolina for beaches or sea food. If people want beaches, they go to California or Florida if they want quality beaches. If they want sea food, they go to either Louisiana or Florida (usually Louisiana).

Just because you've never heard of them, doesn't mean they don't exist..... ![]()
