Nope, divine cass pretty much breaks up with the inquisitor. Non-divine cass can says she wants a romantic proposal so you can head canon potential marriage.

She doesn't break up, she just says a wedding will never happen. To me, the ending slides suggest that they keep up a secret relationship outside of public eyes.

The funny thing is, whenever I hear this line in the credits, I do imagine there are actual sparkles.

I finally got around to playing and completing the Trespasser DLC (Between raiding with my guild on WoW, working a 9 to 5 job, and juggling the new Forza and Gears of War releases, I haven't had much time to even think about DA), and I rather liked it. The humor was what I would expect (which isn't a flaw by any means), and I liked the way they effectively set up the premise for DA4.

Spoiler

I chuckled at Cassandra thinking that the Inquisitor was proposing to her. Some day, Cassandra. Some day.

Overall, I would give it a 7 or 8. Main problems I had were the health sponge enemies and relatively short length of the DLC (I managed to start and finish it in less than 5 hours, and that's not rushing through it all), and I wasn't particularly fond of the end choices.

Spoiler

I will say this though: If DA4 does take place in Tevinter like Bioware has been saying (and like has been suggested by the ending to Trespasser), then Dorian had ***damn better show up. Also that the Inquisitor had better return as an important NPC with what remains of the Inquisition. They built him/her up as way too important to Solas to just ignore in DA4.

Spoiler

Also, in my game, Cassandra is the only party member to remain in the Inquisition between the main game and the beginning of Trespasser. Is this romance related, or does she just not leave? She's never been made Divine in my saves and she never rebuilds the Seekers, so I can't imagine many other places she could go to after Corypheus is defeated, so her sticking around makes sense. And I'm sure the Inquisitor doesn't mind her staying.

I'm probably going to do a de-facto for-sure completionist canon run through the game and all DLC again. Vivienne was Divine in the save I used to play through Trespasser, and I've always favored Leliana as Divine. How does Leliana's role change in the DLC if she is Divine? Because I noticed that Vivienne was a selectable party member in the DLC, despite being the Divine. Not sure if bug or intentional, because I don't think the Pope would pick up a magic staff to fight Qunari.

I watched someone do a run through with Leliana as Divine, and honestly her role doesn't change to much, just a few added lines here and there, but she still essentially plays out as Spymaster

and yes, both Vivenne and Cassandra can be picked for party when Divine, it's not a bug, they get unique armor for it too.

Still, gotta love Cassandra reading Varric's new book, laugh every time.

How do you get Cass reading Varric's book?  I can't even talk to Varric, he's bugged.  : (

It's during the later half of the credits scene, she starts reading it out loud as they roll. I'm considering commissioning some fan art of it, assuming THIS:  isn't actually real.

*whimpers*

I want this, but I already forked out a lot over theTemperance (Cassandra tarot giclee) and Queen of Staves (Morrigan) giclees. Hahaha. I'm just going to convince myself I'll draw something like this and hang it on my wall.

While a neat picture, my only gripe is the Anchor is in Inquisitor's right hand...

Same thing happened to my elf mage, her approval wasn't high enough with Varric. I didn't get that free house or fancy title in Kirkwall.

Then again it was Kirkwall, that place is a dump so not really bothered by it.

Luckily for me, disbanding and joining both work perfectly for my headcanons, even gives wiggle room for things I wanted to write eventually. Now that this dlc has finally been released, I might actually do so. Haven't thought about da in a while, but glad the dlc is good, finally. Thanks for summing.

The enthusiasm in her voice is the cutest thing I've ever heard in Dragon Age. Ever. I can hear her smile lighting up the room.

Can Promise of Destruction actually be triggered after Unfinished Business without doing either of the two act 2 missions?  The Wiki says it can but I'm not getting it to trigger.

I got the one cut scene where she talks about troop movements and you can hold hands by the window but after that, nothing.

I was hoping to do Winter Palace first so I can get Morrigan and Loghain at Skyhold at the same time, but I won't give up the dance scene for something that may or may not even trigger.

But anyways, my question, is the Wiki wrong and I need to do either Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts or Here Lies the Abyss or do I need to find a way to scrounge up a bit more approval to get Promise of Destruction to trigger.

You just need to meet the warden contact to trigger her quest, you don't need to finish either quest.
