I guess Cassandra was never of fan of making mage Tranquil and learning her Order created the Rite and sat on the cure just pissed her off.

 

But that's my point...It doesn't make sense that she would be angry about it...If Tranquility wasn't used, the only option would be the Tevinter method aka "everyone has to take the harrowing even if they know themselves to be too weak to resist a demon" which would automatically result in instant death.

The templar training is not a secret, everyone knows you need to use Lyrium and what it does.

Divine Cassandra needs to take a page from Leliana and say, "**** it everyone needs there sexy time." LOL. I suppose she is too much of a traditionalist for that.

Eventually, Divine Victoria decreed that all members of the Chantry, from initiate to Divine, would be allowed to engage in romantic relationships. When questioned, the Divine pointed to Andraste, who served the Maker while wed to a mortal spouse. In time, many in the Chantry came to accept the Divine's decree that "Love is the Maker's best gift and is infinite."

I can imagine most people would be uncomfortable knowing they were made Tranquil against their knowledge... and that they could have been left in that state permanently. Developments also could have been made with this knowledge regarding the Rite itself and its use on mages and non-mages. When others began making progress into finding the cure on their own, the Lord Seeker went to great lengths to cover it up, including having people killed.

 

And for what. What had the Seekers wrought, with all their self-righteousness and secrecy? Madness. Madness and stupidity.

II choose to stop Solas at all cost, he need to pay for what he did, being friend of the Inquisitor doesn't mitigate the damage he has done and will do.

And I kept the Inquisition. My Inquisitor is andrastian (he even proclamed the Inquisition belonged to the faithful), it seemed fit to serve the Chantry he helped rebuild and he is going to serve under a close friend.

I chose to try to redeem Solas, I really liked how the scene played out when Solas and my Inquisitor were good friends, with Solas showing signs that he really does not want to destroy the world (I got a lot of feels when Solas said "I would treasure the chance to be wrong again, my friend") and my Inquisitor was that kind of person who believed in second chances. I also saw a Professor X/Magneto dynamic with Solas and my Inquisitor, and I really liked that too. Speaking of second chances, they gave the Inquisition a second chance after its blunder with the spies, becoming the Divine's peacekeepers and honor guard. And since Inspired Leliana was my Divine Victoria, keeping the Inquisition around was for her as much as having a force ready to deal with Solas. It was also an unexpected but funny book-end for my Inqusitor. They were a non-Mage Trevelyan who chaffed at their family's expectation for them to serve the Chantry, but in the end they now serve the Divine personally, building a Chantry they can believe in. Also I found it worrying that Cassandra's Seekers were very reclusive, but then I realized they are being reclusive so they can avoid tipping off Solas to their/my Inquisitor's plans.

This isn't related to Cassandra in any way, but I feel a strong urge to share (also the off topic boards are down because biower is dum), but I just finished playing through SOMA.

 

You people all need to play it. It's from the same dev team that made the Penumbra games and Amnesia: The Dark Descent, but it is so incomprehensibly better than both of those. Everything from the art design and the environments, to the sound and the voice acting, to the writing and the characters, it's all so good. The ending is very bleak for the player character, Simon, but the post-credit sequence (which is playable) makes it all so very much worth it.

My inquisitor is going to hunt that stupid elf down and give him a good smack upside the head before dragging him around by his ear. Then she will probably bang him... Repeatedly. After that, I have no idea. Maybe try and make him see reason if that is even possible.

And I chose to disband the inquisition. But that was just for my elfie play through. I have another two characters to take through the DLC and one of them will be gunning for Solas' head.

Maybe, they are going to do something more with Cassandra, and that's why inky couldn't marry her? I just gave up and watched spoilers on youtube.

Or maybe they let Cass and the Inquisitor's wedding open to headcanoning. Unless she's Divine, she never refuses the prospect of wedding - quite the contrary, she's simply waiting for the proposal to be made properly in better circunstances.

Called it! Well, kinda called it. I was hoping Cassandra would do that but that was wishful thinking.
