A human? Boring!
A human? Boring!
*Snorts*
I will never understand that perspective, somehow its better to whine about being oppressed by the mean humans and have stupidly long ears or be part cow or a short human that lives underground and are notoriously greed rather then being just a normal person.
Seriously Human is clearly the base phenotype.
Dwarves are just short humans, Elves are just shorter humans with weird looking ears, Qunari are...something that went wrong with humanity, a cow and a bottle of ale.

According to who? As I recall it, Humanity arrived in Thedas from elsewhere, they didn't magically spring up from the ground one day.

Word of God says that Arlatan was founded something like 3000 years before the arrival of humans on the continent and the first contact between elves and dwarves was around -4600 Ancient. Humans only showed up around -3100 Ancient. There is no indications of where humanity came from and if they were even the "base phenotype" back there.
Word of God
Ah, that'd explain it then, this I know.
Word of God to my knowledge has never specified on the origins of any race-so my little origin of species theory will have to suffice until then.
Races do not magically appear, or perhaps they do in this world, but given bloodlines can transcend race...I doubt it, the evidence is there, Humanity is what I'd presume every species reverts to via interbreeding. Hence why I'd argue its the progenitor, it restores what external condition or poor choices with farm animals have caused.

Nice headcanon.
Nice headcanon.
Ain't it though?
Life doesn't originate out of the ether...unless if the Maker is real, in which case someone owes me fifty bucks if they ever drag their ass back to the forums...in either case I win.

Well, i do hope that one day that we'll get to see where the humans came from/

I only stated that elves came first, then humans. I made no such claims as to where the humans came from, i only said Elves came first. Which is probaly true. considering they were spirt-elves first then once Solas made the veil, the elves we know today.
Btw, am i the only girl on here? Seriously, am i?

You're the only survivor of the female plague of 2015 that killed every single other woman on Earth. Have fun rebuilding.

Haha. Very funny.
I would love to be the only female on earth, more peace for me.

Pfft, I would love to be the only girl ever. That way, I can get whatever I want, whenever I want without other females in the way. I think of boys as things to be used (or in that situation, I would indeed).Wha....? Okay...
Line 'em up, boys! Shortest to tallest!

Nope.
But I usually just lurk around because frankly the pissing match about races (all around the DA fandom, not just in this thread) is annoying. lmao.
*goes back to lurking*
posting (or reposting in case someone had posted this in the past. haha)
I'd also just like to point out that that is a female inquisitor
How can you tell?
It's in the artists notes.
