I'm really still surprised people bought it
I mean it's another Beth Fallout...and they bought it even after that flop 3
Flop? Fallout 3 is the game that turned Fallout into a commercial success. It has sold 12 000 000 copies (definitely not a flop) more than FO1 and 2 combined. The old games were cult successes... FO1 has sold around 80 000 units, FO2 around 200 000. Fallout 4 shipped 12 000 000 units in one day...

Good for Beth I guess?
I still consider it a broken on launch flop with a joke of a story line.
Would you prefer the term failure instead? Unless if Beth intended for constant crashes, broken inventory systems, DLC issues, loading and texture errors that required months if not years of modding to even make somewhat playable?
I mean without even getting into the matter of subjectives like storyline, character cast, location, etc you still have a train wreck that they sold to people and never got around to fixing, and its a non issue because fans fixed it for them? Yup to me there is no real defense for that sort of 'game' hell DAI ran better on release and that's saying something.
How folks can view it as anything but what it objectively was is sort of beyond me, but as a FO fan I understand the love for the universe but I also acknowledge Beth has no business making them, even 80% done FO:NV was still leagues ahead of FO3 even limited as it was by that garbage engine they use.

You seem to have this delusion where you actually believe that people care about what you think. I myself merely corrected the how. If you don't like the story, that's your problem. If you don't like the fact that FO4 is breaking Grand Theft auto records, boo hoo for poor you I guess. End of discussion.
This is what my Hawke would've done!

You prompted conversation if you forgot friend so...ya. There wouldn't have been a reply if you hadn't done that, so there wouldn't have been the 'delusion' of folks interested in my opinion. Which isn't really a opinion given every problem listed is very well cited.
I'm sure there's a fancy Latin phrase for this sort of thing but I don't know it off the top of my head.
Point being-If you don't want a opinion, don't request it.
The full quote was: "You seem to have this delusion where you actually believe that people care about what you think. I myself merely corrected the how. I do love how you twist points to suit whatever garbage you want it to, ignore the technical complaints and focus on subjective sure there is Latin phrase for that too. But I'll agree with one thing you said.
You seem to think I care.
I don't, your method of communication is known to me, as is its manner. So Boohoo to you I suppose, have your faulty games that sales records apparently fix...hint from a man who understands coding.
They don't.
Speaking of garbage, think you can try stringing a coherent sentence together?
Warder, you are seriously willing to continue a conversation that seems based on the notion that sales records reflect quality? Hendrix doesn't even try to engage in any sensible discussion. He just picked out the word "flop", ignoring all your explanations, and tried to use it as a stick to poke you with. Nothing surprising here. But you really don't find it a waste of your time to respond?

It would seem every time I pop in the Cassandra thread, there's always a argument going on

Not true! Sometimes I also post pictures. ![]()
I teared up when Cassandra called me "friend." I liked her so much. Couldn't have asked for a better gal-pal to have by my side as I fight to save the world.

Last time I checked a flop is a piece of media that does not sell well. I was not talking about the quality of the games, I made it quite clear from the start that I don't care what 'Warder' thinks about the games, only that he can't logicly call Fallout 3 and 4 flops. Fallout 3 was a very popular game, if it had of been a "flop" Bethesda would not have made a 4th. FO3 and 4 can be complete **** in 'Warder's' eyes, it does not matter, they were not flops. And you are silly if you think I'm going to argue with Warder's subjective premises, it's his opinion if the games are ****, theoretically a game could be **** and still not be a flop. Objectively, the games were not 'flops' there are sales records that prove this.

Spoiler
Same! Oh, I don't doubt there will be at least one character in DA4 that I will love to their bones, but Cass set the requirement to become my one of my favorite characters very high. ![]()
And now, the art!

Done by Xim'!

Drawn for me by Hamstr.

Eh I usually engage until I get bored truthfully, which has happened here.
I enjoyed FO3. But there was the case of always finding Liam Neeson's voice hot which made it awkward.....
You steal Liam Neeson's daughter just to 'get him on the phone.' XD

He might have been by and far the best part of the game. ![]()
Between Fallout 3 and New Vegas, I do prefer 3. The Capital Wasteland is so much more interesting for me, personally, over the Mojave. Honest Hearts for New Vegas though, hoo boy. Joshua Graham is my Courier's bromance (or he would be if he wasn't so incredibly depressing). I love Honest Hearts (and Old World Blues, but for different reasons). I haven't played Fallout 4 yet, but I do want to oh so much.

I do admit a slight...appreciation for the VA in the role.
