Neither elf nor qunari, just a mage.

Makes you wonder if Galyan wore that same expression when Cassandra got up close and personal with his sword...

I'm happy he died off screen, saved me the trouble.

Dunno, I would have loved to meet him; he was one of the few level-headed mages in the whole DA universe. RIP Regalyan D'Marcall. ![]()
(And I will not talk once again of Cass' weird habit of threatening the men she fall in love with...woops, too late).

I just finish watching Dawn of the Seeker for the first time. First, Cassandra's skills are amazing, and it's crazy to see that Cassandra hasn't changed much in the past 20 years. Also, I wished that Galyan didn't died offscreen, because he was to good of a character to kill offscreen. I would've enjoyed to see how the interaction was between Galyan and Cassandra 20 years later.
Regarding Cassandra, Dawn of the Seeker has made me rethink my canon a little bit. As much as I love Cassandra as Divine, I don't think it's the right path for her to go down. She loves fighting and being a warrior, but she also is devoted to the Maker. As Divine, the warrior in Cassandra is taking away from her, but her love for the Maker can really shine As the new leader of the Seeker, Cassandra can still be a warrior and serve the Maker.

I think the forced romance was forced.

Ehh, Cassandra never rebuilds the Seekers in my saves. I can't say I will ever miss them.

So much of the film's budget went into the fight between the pride demon and the dragon, it's actually funny how "upgraded" the graphisms look during that sequence.

Yeah, overall I think that the primary problem with this animated film is that they went to Funimation, which is while one of the better animation studios out there...primarily its a producer and it outsourced a lot of its crap, that's the problem when you got a giant corp, it will sell out bits and pieces of the project, plus primiarly they do anime related stuff, so it came off over the top and cartoonish, personally I would have preferred them doing it relatively in house, maybe even rendering it in existing software and making it like a 'movie game' where its all done in the familiar graphics of the setting or something to that effect.
