Gail's quote of that post still has the super-duper NSFW one in it too, if you haven't seen it yet.
Lol. Oh, I've checked it out already.

It's a different woman, but it's someone in Cassandra's armor. I don't remember how to customize hyperlinks, but this is who is doing the cosplay: http://hydraevil.deviantart.com/
If only the Inquisitor's mail armour had instead been designed more to resemble the Seeker armour that Cassandra had worn in DA2.
Am I the only one who felt that the mail design variant we got stuck with was pretty meh, since it was just bland metal and leather? Sure the armour that Cass wore in DA2 was just the generic heavy armour design with a different emblem on it, but it at least looked cool!

Most girls who cosplay Cass sure are pretty but look so soft and young and not really like Cass.
She somehow has a rather Greek looks to her but at least she seems older than 21 and a bit more convincing^^ :
She's too young too... but she's really pretty

Might be more age-appropriate to cosplay Cass as she was depicted in Dawn of the Seeker, since at that point she was in her late-teens or early 20s.
How old is Cass supposed to be anyway, I figure she's in her late 30s, but her precise timeline is a little vague?
She is said to have been a child when her parents died in 9:10, young enough that she doesn't really remember them. A letter from Anthony in WOT2 suggests that she was still young enough to want to play tea parties, as well as stay behind while he went on his dragon hunting trips between 9:12 and 9:16, when he died. We don't know how long she spent training to become a Seeker, we're told she underwent the vigil at the age of 15 and was still new enough to be an apprentice to Byron in 9:22, the year in which Dawn of the Seeker takes place.
If we assume she was 18 in Dawn of the Seeker, then that would fit the timeline well. If she was born in 9:04, she was six when her parents died and 12 when Anthony died, which would fit with her comment that she was far older than most children who undergo Seeker training. That would mean Cass would be around 37 at the start of Inquisition and 40 by the time of Trespasser?
On a side note, we need to see more people over 30 or 40 cosplaying at conventions, methinks.
You are right about her age. She started in the Seeker Order at the age of 12 in 9:16 according with WoT Vol.2.Might be more age-appropriate to cosplay Cass as she was depicted in Dawn of the Seeker, since at that point she was in her late-teens or early 20s.

This thread is still active? Wow..

That would mean...
Impressive.
I just assumed her to be 35+ without any further reasoning.
Btw, I never thought about this before, but a year in Thedas is a year as we perceive it? Maybe they have other seasons and hence other intervals.
Dixit The World of Thedas, volume 1 (page 21), "the current twelve months and four seasons that define a year are rooted in the early years of the Tevinter Imperium. Except for the addition of Chantry holidays after the Second Blight, the months and primary seasonal holidays remain unchanged after more than two thousand years.
Each thirty-day month has a low name, used amongst the common classes, as well as an official high name."
So a year in Thedas is pretty much a year as we perceive it, yes. ![]()

Twelve 30-day months? So it's 5 days shorter.
5 days per 35 years makes 175 days. So Cass is only about 34,5!
