How on Earth did you make a Lavellan in his 30s is beyond me since all the Elves I made looked very young ? Its hard to make old Elves or  middle aged Elves.
 
No really. Fiona is supposed to be old. Ameridan is supposed to be really old. However, they don't really look old the way old Humans do. Its just an Elven thing I suspect.

I headcount he is... He looks way younger... But he's 31 years old. Really, I would compliment CuriousArtemus Lavellan because he looks actually 30 years old (yeah yeah, modding doesn't work on my computer... The Mod Manager has yet to provide a DAI thing, leaving me with no real way to download the mod on the website.. Unfortunately..)

What you consider is unfortunately, false.

I'm not talking about scientifically speaking, as in strictly physical. I'm talking about what I personally consider a man to be in his prime, as far as looks and maturity are concerned. To me, men in their late 30's and early 40's are far more handsome than men younger than that. It's why I look forward to those years for myself

You'd be hard-pressed to find an old-looking elf in much of any fantasy fiction, really.

I do tend to play inquisitors or characters in general by their mid thirties, late thirties, or early forties, but just because that's the age I consider a man in his prime. Not that my characters need to be in their prime, that's just how it turns out.

 

I do the same, but for a different reason. Too young and it seems unlikely that the protagonist would have the kind of combat experience and training necessary to survive the insane s**t that happens in these games, too old and it seems unlike they would be able to move as nimbly to avoid getting stabbed. Between 30 and 40 (usually closer between 35 and 40) is my ideal.
