On another note, I redid my world state. I'm gonna try this again.

This time Leliana romanced a Dalish (male). He was her first convert.

Then he killed himself.

Romancing a dead warden makes Leliana's attitude seem more determined, specially when hardened. She has seen it all, happiness and suffering at their peak. It also makes her going back to the Divine's side more realistic. Why would she leave the warden if he is alive? She went to her in her grief, just like Justinia did once.

I should have just stuck with this. This is the first way I ever played (Leliana and ultimate sacrifice).

edit: I mean the first way I played DAO years ago. I haven't what it's like here.

Its really good for hardened Leliana. While its a bit sad, its good for her. She sees the true face of Thedas and life and deals with it accordingly.

Also it fits her duties as left hand, I mean Cassandra doesn't even know what were Leliana's duties but she trusted her a lot and knew she was doing them for the divine.

BTW I don't know what Bioware thought when they made softened Leliana ending. "One day she gathered them all and talked with them and they all agreed". WHEN did that happen  , whether in Thedas or real life.

Hardened Leliana however? Its quite real. Knowing the secrets of every noble, threats and blackmail and having agents everywhere is pretty much everything one needs in achieving her epilogue, and she has them. Ironically on my first playtrhough I had more secrets perks than others so the ending fit Leliana becoming divine. All about intrigue, cunning and espionage. First try to reason with people peacefully, if it fails blackmail/threaten them, if it fails they will find a dagger on their throat. Its not "nice", but Thedas is not nice either.

I liked softened... but I've already talked about that. She's a bard.... and a pretty hot one too. That's the power of persuasion.

She converted my murderous Dalish hunter, after all. One minute he and Tamlen were killing humans for "merely" standing on their lawn. The next he's a gibbering fool, whispering sweet nothings to the Chantry sister, and scratching a nug's belly.

I love softened Leliana, I NEVER harden her if I'm not going to make her divine. I just want her to be ready for harshness of Thedas if she is going to be the leader of more than half of it.

LOL, that was a conversion indeed! Leliana and Alistair romance are on the "sweet side" whereas Morrigan and Zevran are on the "wild side".

Yeah, even though Leliana was my first romance, I like the Dalish paired just as much with those three. They all transform the story and my Warden's outlook in their own way.

To me, it's the origin with the most possibilities. For some reason.

I'll have to consider hardened and Divine though... I'm a little undecided now, compared to that last worldstate idea.

For future reference, since I'm eventually going to side with Mages..

Is there a way to make up for loss of that Amulet of Power for Cass in the Templar quest? I'd hate to go through the game with a slightly gimped Cass.

Nope, but I think BioWare didn't fix the bug of the vanished power amulets, so you will not lose anything.

I heard about that bug, but not sure how it works.

The power amulet doesn't appear in a chest anymore, only those obtained in the war table appears.

I'm sorry... I'm just confused. I haven't played the game in awhile. Forgot how a lot of things work.

You're saying no amulets appear in chests anymore? Just the war table ones? That sucks.

Yeah it got bugged at patch 5 and wasn't fixed with 7. The person with most amulets of power is probably Varric atm.

You either get Iron Bull's amulet of power (a mission on wartable which requires completing in hushed whispers) or Cassandra's amulet of power which requires siding with Templars. The good thing is Bull's amulet is not bugged since its a wartable mission award.

Yes, but I don't know if BioWare fixed it, I don't think they did but I cant say for sure.

Thanks.

So that's the only amulet she can get... and it's not even doable now?

In any case, as long as most are kind of "equal". I just didn't want her to be lamer than everyone else.

At a certain point you're going to have more points to spend than you know what to spend them on.

Or do the smart thing and stop playing a buggy, improperly made, half complete single player mmo.

I think it's the War Table Mission after you go to Orlais for the first time. Use Cullen for that mission and him again for the mission that opens up next and you get an amulet.

What really annoyed me about Cassandra? Her lack of reaction to other races and or their various crimes against collective society and how they were never addressed.

For some reason I think Cassandra would have something to say about recruiting a possible Qunari, especially when the dumb ass admits to being part of their sick little death cult...and the list goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on...etc...for about at least three hour's content.

Sure, there's the Ben-Hassrath, but why would she raise hell over race, as opposed to the individual?

Because collectively the race is Qunari, Mercenary or Bandit.

Its not of the Maker and directly opposed of the Chantry?

That I personally doubt someone in the Chantry being comfortable dealing with one of their kind initially simply because their a raced of horned war crazy cowmen?

The end.

Justinia was, apparently (Valo-Kas). Beyond Iron Bull, I could see Cassandra possibly reacting with some discomfort (internalizing it, most likely), but she's definitely not the type to waste time by taking it any further than that. And what of the other races?
