Most threads go off-topic like this. I don't think its really off-topic when we keep it about DA.
Nuh-uh, Dorian thread is on point yoh.
And the Sera thread got locked? That, at least, seems somewhat expected.

You guys have the dubious honor of being the only ever character thread to be locked for going off topic and then you go ahead and go off topic again.
Cassandra would be so disappointed.
That narcs regularly come in and ruin our fun, yes she would.

Someone could have said Ferelden and it would have been interesting. For being underdog nation.
I'm not sure how someone doesn't get bored in DA when they "like humans". You have to like other people/factions to be able to enjoy the game. That's my take on it anyway.
I know what you're saying...
But I don't really bundle humans as one group. I like individual nations (like Ferelden as you mentioned). They're all cultures in and of themselves, as Dalish are.
It's why I don't care for the surface dwarves much either... I don't like all dwarves... I mostly like the ones with Stone Sense. ![]()
Yea it got locked for the same reason
But they toned down the off-topic conversations after that
Yup. Sera thread got locked. We made a new thread that stayed on topic (hence why it moves much slower these days) and moved our OT conversations elsewhere. A week or two later we got the new thread merged into the old.
Talking of on-topic, have a Cassandra screenshot.

I have a hard time giving a **** whether Character threads go off topic or not.
What's it like to be even that way?....how do you get to that point in life? I wonder.

I don't care much myself, but this is a privately owned website and hence what the mods say goes. This isn't a place where I consider it worth my energy to "fight the power."

I don't care to fight the power either. Maybe I'm just apathetic in general.... at least with these things. ![]()
Some of my friends, are trying to convince me.. It's working...its starting to creep into my brain.
I'm terribly disappointed, AWTEW. ![]()
Is it? Maybe if you squint a little..
IDEKA
You're welcome. Show it to your friends too.
I'm kinda late to the party, but liking humans is very lame.
Its like a straight pride parade.
This is either a joke or profoundly stupid.

I gotta say, I agree.
What's wrong with liking humans... the Fereldens are pretty badass. As are the Avvar.
I don't get what's wrong with wanting to be someone that's like yourself, but in a fantasy setting. That's what I always wanted. I've never desired to be some prissy elf, and to be honest, while I do love their lore, the elves themselves seem more geared towards the female fans anyway.
Hence why we've never gotten a female heterosexual elf companion if you could also be a male elf.

It's not really about fighting the power, I just don't like others limiting what I can say. I'm just stubborn that way I guess.
We had a straight female elf in BD...
Well Drow but you know what I mean...
What's BD?
What's BD?
Lol why not call it BG? That's what everyone I know says when talking about it, or BG 2.
I don't know if it's true but I heard that Bioware was a different team. Then they went mainstream and, whala.
