Good point, I think its both. Some people just take it too far and some indeed have white guilt.

The thing with my SJW is its part of my job to be one. I don't defend people on internet or even endorse it. Some people need help, recognition, support etc... But you can't give it to them if they are not asking for it.

Its good to notice the bad sides of everything, but also the good sides, even social justice. Racial issue is none-existent in Netherlands. People are so eager to meet people of different backgrounds that our new generations find their own boring and most of them marry people of different backgrounds and ethnicity.

Before growing up and watching American/international TV, the African American issue in America was completely alien to me, like I couldn't comprehend how you can discriminate against people because of their skin color, that's how I grew up. It sunk it when I was mature enough for it to sunk in. I think its good achievement, one that I'm proud of. This is what SJW is about, not some pretentious fools with rainbows.

I consider myself liberal too... Err, classically liberal at least. I don't want to be bothered by anyone, and I'll try to do the same. "Life, liberty, pursuit of happiness", etc.. belongs to everyone.

But these people just project bad faith in everyone... and they don't want unity. They want division and drama and see enemies everywhere.

And it's mostly just because they can get "likes" on their blogs. I think. The more you stir up and get quoted, the better.  :P

I think the fact that David Gaider, a liberal himself... and gay.... quit his blog because of the "SJWs". That was one of his last posts.

If you managed to annoy even him, you've gone off the deep end.

If your from the Netherlands, then you aren't from the most liberal country in the world. That honor goes to Sweden.

Its too subjective, therefore there can't be a single one. Netherlands is the only country remaining who accepts asylum from LGBT people from middle east who face harsh punishments. Sweden just deported some gay Iranians this year, and therefore Netherlands is on the spotlight right now.

Netherlands and Scandinavian countries are the most liberal countries in the world, we can't really say which one is best, but these five are definitely at the top.

Its not those shitholes surrounding it.

Its the greatest state on the Norse Peninsula.

They actually hate him, but at the same times are still crying blood of tears about Cass not being bi. Because who cares about being consistant?

Well apart from being a liberal, I'm a liberal defense attorney so most of the time I'm defending people in court in the name of social Justice. That's what I meant when I said its my job.

Yeah, most of them do it for the attention and the sad part is they are smearing the work of people who are actually trying to do good.

I figure you meant something like that.

But agreed... they're just making other liberals look stupid.

For those unaware, there's been four days straight of riots in The Hague and I'm sure I don't need to say who's rioting.

Honestly, it's a charged topic, could we take it away from the Cassandra thread?

whelp.  Its clearly what Norway wants to be called, since there is a sort of alliance between those 4 countries and Norway holds the most seats in its leadership. Norway is in better shape indeed, but its not what you want it to be.

Can someone help with my canon? Still in doubt about 2 things.
First is to make or not a alliance with the Qun. The alliance makes sense to being down Corypheus, but the consequences sucks, only a few war tables and I hate helping the Qun.
The second is who to romance. While I love Cass romance and character, I don't know if she is the right choice for my political minded Inquisitor (hell, she disapproved every major decision I did, only agreed about the restoring the Chantry, but they disagreed about how to do it), but she being a Pentaghast and the Lady Seeker make her a good match.
While I find Josephine character and romance bland, she is more invested in politics and the heir of the Montyliet house, she makes a good match too.

What do you guys think I should do?

Alright, back to our lady!

I was wondering about Cass' scar, the big one long her jaw. Does someone have a theory about where it comes from? Did she get him during the trip back from Kirkwall, or was it always here and was not shown during DA2 due to the engine's limitations? What do you guys think?

It's up to us for now, I guess.

I like to think a fellow Seeker got the drop on her.

Well, if it wasn't shown during the DA2, we should probably assume it wasn't there.

Maybe she was caught up in the middle of the Templar-Mage war as she was taking Varric. Or hell, it could be as simple as a bandit attack or she just scratched her face deeply on something.

And ultimately irreverent to Cassandra.

If I made a character like that, I'd go for Josephine myself (or female with Cullen maybe). I'm kind of holding off from playing it though.

That statement means nothing without context. There are also laws in Sweden that allow the government to take legal action against companies who don't have enough token women employees. But then Sweden is also clinically retarded as a country when one of their PM's says that having men in the workplace "creates more risk and a greater risk of corruption". The quotas aren't as bad as Norway, IIRC, over there it's mandatory to have 40% of the boardroom in large companies be women, otherwise the government can come in and seize the company's assets.

So they better get to hiring more women, it doesn't matter if they are qualified for the job, or even want the job. The business will sink otherwise.

Meh, lets blame the Dutch for encouraging unity and alliances instead of meaningless nationality pride and hostility.

Even Cassandra agrees with me in this. She believes Thedas must be united, All Orlesian, Nevarran and other people who think they are better than others just because their mother gave birth to them in a different location are to be blamed for many conflicts.

Multiculturalism, tolerance and unity is the future. Your own country is moving towards this, Norway has been instrumental in both Scandinavian unity and EU unity. This is also why Switzerland has the most effective government on the planet. Its confederation is so flawless that it has been unchanged since the birth of country. Its rules and regulations were and are several years ahead of most countries.

I don't know if it's the future. It's always been a theme in history.. Alexander the Great somewhat sparked it once (but mostly by Hellenizing everything), Christianity tried it....

McDonald's, Elvis, and the Beatles are the kind of "unifying" themes today. :D Or Capitalism and Entertainment, basically.

My only comment here and if you want more talk to me in a PM; but let's just say after coming to America and fighting in Iraq...I don't exactly view him as wrong on a few things...

And that's all I'll say.
