Good point, I think its both. Some people just take it too far and some indeed have white guilt.
The thing with my SJW is its part of my job to be one. I don't defend people on internet or even endorse it. Some people need help, recognition, support etc... But you can't give it to them if they are not asking for it.
Its good to notice the bad sides of everything, but also the good sides, even social justice. Racial issue is none-existent in Netherlands. People are so eager to meet people of different backgrounds that our new generations find their own boring and most of them marry people of different backgrounds and ethnicity.
Before growing up and watching American/international TV, the African American issue in America was completely alien to me, like I couldn't comprehend how you can discriminate against people because of their skin color, that's how I grew up. It sunk it when I was mature enough for it to sunk in. I think its good achievement, one that I'm proud of. This is what SJW is about, not some pretentious fools with rainbows.
I consider myself liberal too... Err, classically liberal at least. I don't want to be bothered by anyone, and I'll try to do the same. "Life, liberty, pursuit of happiness", etc.. belongs to everyone.
But these people just project bad faith in everyone... and they don't want unity. They want division and drama and see enemies everywhere.
And it's mostly just because they can get "likes" on their blogs. I think. The more you stir up and get quoted, the better. ![]()
