I think their faces are cute.

For me, because I mostly play as a human female, the female elves when interacting in dialogue with them appear to be the same height as a human female. It could just be the angle? I don't know.....

It would be different if they made them shorter and slimmer than a human, but it just seems is that all they have done is put them more on the skinny side of things.

Really, if they are that hard up for food they need to eat their damn halla.

That's partly why I like human mage too. But I'm changing my KE to Rift now, just to have even more overlap with Solas (that and it seems appealing in it's own right).

 

I mean, Solas kind of works on different levels. That's a mark of a good character. Unlike Bull...who's more niche to me. I can't even recruit that guy on a mage.

Agreed. As a friend inquisitor or rival inquisitor even, I honestly like Solas. The romance isn't my cup of tea though, but then it was designed for women, so. Some women like being in a more side role, which is fine for them.

Yeah something feels off with the elven body structures to me anyways. (They were fine in Origins, not sure why they had to change it up). Imma just stick to Trevelyan. Male Trevelyan for me. Because I'm sexist.

Eh, I tried to do a play through specifically for Solas but to be honest, he just annoys the hell out of me.

Plus, the elves are so freaking thin, they look like they'd have to cling to someone if a strong gust of wind came their way. It just looks silly to me.

Yeah, she does. Maybe slightly adjusted but there isn't a huge difference. But she eats cookies.....

Because it suggests that this is because of sexism and not because of something very natural. And my comment wasn't machoism, it's fact. I actually live here and have, so I know. Grown men staying at home, losers. Women staying at home, normal. That's nothing new.

If you play on PC, there are mods that slightly change the elf bodies, the female looks better with it.

 

Solas also has a different body than male elf Inquisitor.

Its no secret elf playtrhough has more content than all other races, specially the mage. Its not THAT much, but its something.

I think even if I played an elf though, I'd still be rivals. He the revivalist.... me the elf who embraces the future.

 

My elf role model is Shartan... but his vision was cut short (perhaps taken over by Ameridan, I guess). Shartan was what changed my Warden too. And Leliana was the "Andraste" figure there.. instead of Cass.

One of the first unique Dalish dialogues is actually Solas and Lavellan arguing over that very idea, with Solas disparaging the Dalish, and Lavellan demanding to know why, if he has so much knowledge, he doesn't share it with the rest of the elves.   I love Solas, but it's a lot of fun snarking at him.

Shartan is a pretty awesome character from what we know of him. As is Ameridan, with his few minutes of screentime. (Getting the armor for my mage was a big plus as well.)

Corypheus ,Venatori,takes place before and during DAI. More Mage this mage that. Why on earth would I want to spend money  on,anything related, to such a bad game? By the time the comics come out, WItcher 3 will be more  discounted, and there will be more mods out for it. I don't like some of the portrayals of woman in W3, but its been toned down enough from W1 for me to look past it, and enjoy a good story.
