I just realized you can have a human baby with Morrigan in the keep and also romance Leliana. Warden, you naughty boy.

I'm going to use this world state. I will also play Rift mage because its really makes a lot of sense due to anchor and many people will be happy you are a rift mage. Cole simply loves you, he says you are shining and beautiful. I think rift mage is very fitting for the Inquisitor, even when compared to other classes. You are the master of the fade. Vivienne is jealous

Any thoughts on romancing Cassandra as a mage? Does she mention her previous mage lover and how she has fallen for a mage again?

That's how I like to play it (mage/Cass). She mentions Galyan just like the other classes. For humans, I like it because you get Circle mage and noble dialogue alike. And the mage can be closer to her age (I guess the other human classes can too, but it's a little more odd). With other races, it seems like the racial dialogue takes more precedent in general. I haven't seen it all, but it seems like NPCs call you out for being an elf/Qunari more, while with human it's always a "mage".

I'm going with human Keiran on this new playthrough, but I didn't romance Leliana.

Okay I just want to say that I'm really happy that this second thread was created. I'll admit that when I found out the other one was no more it felt like discovering my favorite show would not be renew for a next season. I look forward to keep lurking in this new thread and I hope it retains the spirit of the old one. I love it :D

As to what I can contribute today in the conversation following ximena's question, I agree with Colonelkillabee, Warder and MisterJB. I think making Cassandra Divine gives a lot of good drama. In my case I'd like to think my Inquisitor and Cassandra stay really good friends despite and because of their history together. As the years pass by and they become older their loyalties remain the same and their love for each kept at a distance but still growing. Sort of like how Jorah feels for Daenerys but in this case the love is not unrequited... Damn it! Why did I had to see that Never Forget fanart. If I hadn't I could've been selfish and just let Cassandra have a relatively happy ending as Lady Seeker :'(

As for the fight between Varric and Cassandra my Inquisitor took Varric's side as he failed to see the big deal of the situation but not before letting Cassandra completely lose it by not intervening and then laughing about it. And yes my Trevelyan had a rocky start with Cassandra for that and many other reason xDDD Angry Cass can be a lot of fun :D

Anyway, I will also like to thank all the regular guys of the Cassandra thread for keeping the conversation going despite the lack of material. I can recognize how hard that task can be with no more information about the character so I commend you. Thanks for keeping the thread alive :)

That's more or less what I imagined, too. I kind of liked all the drama at the end... even if i was pretty sad at the beginning. I'm a little late but... where can I find this fanart ? I'd be interested in having a look at it! :)

I might take the plunge and make Leliana Divine now... so I don't know what I'll think of with Cass' story.

What? Leliana?
Common Street, Vivienne for Divine.

Well... I thought it'd work well in her overall story.. since my Warden killed her. It's the most interesting story for Leli, besides a romance.

I might take the plunge and make Leliana Divine now... so I don't know what I'll think of with Cass' story.

When compared to ideological changes in real world, hardened Leliana seems good enough and believable. I mean some people disagree with her views on mages, but what about everything else? She will follow Justinia's example and is her true heir. You will see this immediately when you encourage her to accept becoming Divine. Do not doubt for a second that she will do what I have quoted in my signature. She will look after the poor, she will allow all races to become Andrastian and join the chantry, she will make the lives of city elves better. if you are worried for security, make Cass rebuild the Seekers.

Cassandra's solutions as Divine works, but its nice to see other perspectives as well. She brings peaces and slight reforms to make the lives of mages at circle better, organize Templars and similar stuff. But one can argue why should we go back to systems that caused chaos in the first place. Shouldn't we try something new? Leliana is a position that neither Cassandra nor Vivienne are. She has a vast network of spies who were on many instances outsmart Corypheus. She knows every secret of every noble. She can bring this change.

Both Leliana and Cassandra acknowledge the corruption and incompetence of chantry and they also recognize how Justinia tried to fix it but in the end she was ultimately alone. Leliana is more willing to walk Justinia's path and permanently fix things.

Of course this is simply a view on things, nothing objective.  :)

Don't do that, period.
Listen to my advice.
You summoned Lulu to write her pro-mage views here, you should be ashamed.

No, hardened is not for me. I want to help her as much as make her Divine. All of my characters are assholes anyways. I want the Inquisitor to be a good guy (albeit with some flaws).

"What does it profit if someone gains the world, but loses their soul?" ;) That's my MO for now.

There are other playthroughs for Viv and Cass.

Killing sect leaders who want to eat and get fat in chantry and drown in failing traditions does not make one an A-hole.

Look... here's my thought process.

I decided to stick with my ******* Cousland after all. He treated Leliana badly. But she rises from the dead. My Inquisitor is a mage, so he doesn't easily believe that he's the Herald. But Leliana's story is what is going to make him believe. Not just his own story.

That's what I'm going for. I wanted a mage who convinces himself that he's the Herald.

Anyways... all of you need to f*ck off. I'm gonna play this. :P

Hardened Leliana is just more believable in the ending, otherwise its the same person so enjoy your playthrough! :D

Leliana actively outsmarts and discovers Corypheus plans in opposed to someone who can be *cough* fully ignored in the game and nothing would happen in the absence *cough*.

My whole reason for not wanting her hardened is because she's screwed up from what the Warden did to her. She's jaded and negative from it. I'm not going to indulge that... I think it'd be better if she went back to her sweet self, before she got killed.

If you have a different playthrough, hardened is OK, but here it's just messed up.

This is just a Keep worldstate.

I've gotten Reaver before, and did kill her, but not a Cousland before.

I think encouraging her to stay hardened is kind of like taking the Renegade path with Jack in ME2. It's just not a healthy path, even if some of the killing is justified. She needs to believe in good things again.

Lol I romanced Lels and Morrigan at the same time, lied to her about it, then dumped her for Morrigan. Her salty tears give me strength.

And seasoning for my steak.
