Seriously though, I just don't like the Asari for the most part. I feel like Shepard is even more screwed than the Inquisitor for the Prothean Beacon.... just because he has to be connected to an Asari. At least the Anchor doesn't do the same.
Scratch that, I like the Asari, as far as they are human-like. Just not their "embrace eternity" schtick. They are more alien like than any other race in ME when it comes to this stuff.
As for Liara specifically, I thought she was nerdbait in ME1. But she grew into a better character.
Alright... think I'm settled on trying this game again. Will just play a Rift Mage. I hate that rogue/warrior Trevelyan is the youngest of the family. That just screws with how I want to play. The mage is ambiguously aged.
Changed from Dark Ritual Cousland to Mahariel sacrifice (male/romanced Morrigan). They're just gonna leave the Warden story hanging, so I may as well kill them.

DO u have Aistair as a warden in that state? You should..and then play wicked hearts and wicked eyes before the abyss quest..so u can get this scene with morrigan and allistair..
I did some of the Josie romance, as a FInquisitor and...It just didn't gel with me. She is the opposite to Leliana, in that she is Bi, but prefers men. I ended up going with Sera instead in that play through. Sadly, I can't drag myself through another 100 hours of grinding-fetch quests just for a romance.
I just realized you can have a human baby with Morrigan in the keep and also romance Leliana. Warden, you naughty boy.
I'm going to use this world state. I will also play Rift mage because its really makes a lot of sense due to anchor and many people will be happy you are a rift mage. Cole simply loves you, he says you are shining and beautiful. I think rift mage is very fitting for the Inquisitor, even when compared to other classes. You are the master of the fade. Vivienne is jealous
Any thoughts on romancing Cassandra as a mage? Does she mention her previous mage lover and how she has fallen for a mage again?

Leliana as divine, I can only see it if:
Her warden lover dies, she stays hardened, and then becomes divine. It's consistent with her, character. But man the feels when she talks about a dead warden.... 'Urrgh'

That's classic male fantasy, I think. Ever looked at Frank Frazetta's art? Some of his sci-fi stuff reminds me of Miranda. And Frazetta is about the coolest/machismo artist around. I think it's just oldschool. And he also pretty much inspired the curvy women of comic books too.
The only similarity I see with Liara and Miranda is they have villains for parents. I think ME2 Nerdbait is Tali. It's the nice girl who swoons, no matter what. Miranda (like Jack) is a bit more difficult.

Actually, that's exactly why it's nerd bait. She's a telekinetic super-hottie wearing a skin-tight body suit on a hyper advanced space ship. She just has to have green or blue skin and it would be every nerd's Star Trek fantasy.

This is the reason why my Shepard was a xenophobic jerk specially with Liara in ME1. I was not fond on the idea of melding minds, it sounded way to invasive for my taste specially at these point of the story where Liara is a complete stranger. Not being able to refuse this and the fact that I'm not usually into interracial romances didn't improve matters. In fact my boyfriend has called me a human-elitist because of my reluctance to give alien characters a chance. Which made my character perfect for Cerberus and a nice fit with Miranda. Sadly, despite the fact that I stated the minute I saw Liara I would never go for her love story, LotSB dlc changed my mind complete. Her personality combine with the cheesiness of the dlc won me over and ever since my Shepard always romances her. Though I like to think that even with all the love my Shepard is still disturbed by the meld and struggles with not thinking too much about it xDDDDD

I love Leli, but I doubt I'll ever manage to get her elected to be Divine and I do hope her end will backfire. It's just...too unrealistic. I'm all behind the "Let's open the Chantry to other races!" part of her plan, but "We're all friends with mages now!" simply cannot work so soon after the Mage Rebellion.

True, but does she also open priesthood to them? I admit, so far I never got Cass elected as Divine (though I'm planning to with my current playthrough). I wanted she and Fjal' to have an happy ending and all so I made sure Vivi would be the one getting the Sunburst Throne.
