Whatever I'm in the mood for atm. I stopped caring about max deeps and challenge points a long time ago.

Randomizer is for scrubs that are still playing the optimal builds. Do true random if you want to challenge yourself with out of the box stuff? Randomizer for kit and weapons, auto respec for the build, and then well have fun with lifting nade lift duration, lol.

What if I have fun challenging enemies with the highest potential DPS?

Challenge points mostly. A lot of my builds involve using diverse weapons/powers to accomplish those challenge points but I still enjoy those matches. They just dictate what class I will play next.

However, some classes I rarely touch since I find them to be extremely boring or have not devised an interesting build. (Most infiltrators).

You're about 2 years behind on this one sir :P

Well, we couldn't all come out of the womb with an Eagle X in our hands.

I play whatever I find the most interesting and fun.  I played several games last night, using the following setups:  Executioner Human Engineer, Raider Batarian Sentinel, Paladin Asari Justicar, Arc Pistol Asari Adept, Tempest Human Adept, and Lancer Turian Sentinel.  All of them seemed fun to me at the time, and they all ended up being fun.  That's all I care about.

idk, mix of challenge and DPS i guess. I pick **** I like based mostly on personal preference but then try to maximise the scorewhore potential of that, i.e. I didn't pick the Saber QM as my favourite class because I was really good at headshots - I picked the Saber because it sounded cool, then I decided that if I wanted to make it worthy of the GI tier of DPS I had to get really good at headshots. Turian Cabal and Phoenix kits also, I really like them and think they're stylish, but you have to be super good at movement, positioning and planning if you want to kill stuff as quickly as easier classes.

A pug session for me these days is pretty much this:

1 game with Turian Sentinel

1 game with Turian Soldier

1 Game with Saboteur or Cabal or Havoc

I don't use the megadeepz and iwin weapons like arc/talon/wraith/venom in pugs, or grenadespamshit

I don't use the volus merc shuriken shitcombos either. I like to do decent yet not overpowering DPS.

I only play kits I like, but I tend to stick to all the guns mentioned above   >.<

...and the Aclolyte + CSMG  (sorry I'm a scrub I guess)

I got my BotB banner and proceeded to not give a fcuk about CP.

You have point. I shall try that. Though often it doesn't matter what build, especially if using the sidearm as well.

I play for Challenge Points so I'll have something toward which to point as I'm being judged by the Almighty when I've passed beyond this mortal realm. "Yeah, I probably shouldn't have done that, Boss, but check it out: CP's in the six figures!"

An unintended side effect of rotating constantly through weapons, classes, and powers is that I've accidentally become better at the game than I expected. You start playing with the Black Widow after gutting out the Viper and the Raptor, and you feel like the Death Star with a combat dodge.

Playing only due to having fun, grinding CP etc would be pretty pointless otherwise.

The good thing is though that due to the amazing variations of kits, powers and weapons combining having fun with grinding CP is pretty easy :)

whatever I feel like playing. Lately it´s mostly the TSol, HE, HA and QFI. New unlocked chars I usually take for a quick spin on bronze or silver.

Doing the weapon challenges was never an issue. Doing the character challenges was harder. If I'd of started glitching characters sooner, the promotion challenge would of got done on it's own instead of having to grind it. Yes grind. Because when that word comes into the picture, then enjoyment leaves too.

I think that's the flaw with this game. You get so good with the Viper, that by the time you move up to fully leveled Black Widow, you may as well retire since the game becomes so much easier.

Most of the time, you're right but sometimes you get some just **** tier combos. Most of the time it's more hilarious than challenging.

Don't really pay attention to my DPS or this "having fun" thing I have heard about some where.  I have fallen into a pattern of 1st match of the night is a Silver Melee only Krogan match  ( horrible shotguns included..looking at you Scimitar ) cuz I still like getting Challenge points and Silver is a really fast way to get all those melee points  ( 1 million? really Bioware)   2 and 3 are Gold    2nd is a FQI w Javelin or Black Widow ..3rd Either Asari depts ..then I'm done for the night..I guess that is my version of "fun".

Do these things have to be mutually exclusive? I generally pick my kit and weapon for challenge points, which sometimes means a powerful loadout, and sometimes the opposite. And if I wasn't having fun if be doing something else altogether.

I'd be down for this if it wasn't for the severely limited respec system.

I left my comfort zone today, and have gone out of my way to try different weapons and kits that I usually stay away from.

I stayed away from some of these for a very good reason.

Buuuuuut, I've kinda surprised myself with a couple of them, so I think I might change my ways and grind CP again.
