Weren't two of these weapon challenges the ones that were present for the weekend with terrible server issues that prevented a lot from finishing them near the beginning of DAMP?

It is like the Da Vinci code or something.  To get the chest, you have to figure out what the message in the description actually means.

You just have to get lucky and run into demons. 50 of any kind of demon will do so one good run of demons will finish the challenge for you.

This challenge is very quick, start up a game get your 50 kills then die, takes around 5minutes

from the look of things they don't seem to be modding the game, as there's still druffies in every map, also I had to keep restarting solo matches last night for an hour before I got my chance at this (now completely sick of seeing the Red Templars start screen), after that, my connection went a bit so I had to leave after only 2 game.

 

Anyhoo, whatever the challenge is for today, it's probably best to assume its the same variables.

yeah, had to try 5 times (Venatori was the prominent faction) then I finally got demons and could finish the challenge

Remember yesterday was a holiday in Canada so they wouldn't have worked on the game except for stuff that was dire (aka XP crisis). We'll probably get some changes today, especially seeing as they'll be looking into recovering the lost xp.

 

Hm, from the event "description" from Cullen I'm guessing today will be Venatori? Maybe elemental, if that wasn't part of the weapon challenge. I'm getting home late tonight so hopefully it's nothing that takes too long to do...
